Gers-Gascony

A prime location in the Midi-Pyrénées, the Gers-Gascony is a place of balance and harmony, where it's easy to forget the pressures of modern life. With its pretty villages, diverse culture and rich history, not to mention the arresting scenery of the Pyrenees to the south, it's perfect for a countryside camping experience.

Set in the heart of Gascony in South-West France, the Gers is a department that's proud of its extensive heritage. Not only do its roots stretch back over two thousand years, it has also earned a place in literary legend as the land of d'Artagnan, thanks to the escapades of Charles de Batz-Castelmore, the inspiration of d'Artagnan in Alexandre Dumas' The Three Musketeers.
