This is a very large (140 hectares), hilly site with many facilities. It is a large holiday complex and good for families with young children or teenagers. The large lake provides the opportunity for canoeing and swimming. There is a large safe paddling area and a separate fishing lake. The impressive heated pool complex, complete with gymnasium and Jacuzzi, has paved areas for sunbathing and a large paddling pool. Of the 600 pitches, over 200 are well situated for tourers on shaded terraces or open ground, all with electricity (10A) and many with water also. There is a range of rental accommodation available to suit all tastes.
The site is set in the rolling, wooded Gers countryside in the heart of Gascony, a land of fortified villages, sunflowers, wine and foie gras, near Lectoure which was once the main seat of the Counts of Armagnac. In recent years, the site has won the Yelloh! Village group award for its excellent entertainment provision. Everything a family might need is available on the site, but there are many delightful villages within easy reach that are well worth a visit, including the old walled town of Lectour itself, just two kilometres away. A firework festival is held in September, and displays to mark the 14th July and 15th August.
