Klüthseecamp Seeblick is a modern, family-run site situated on a small hill between two lakes. It is an ideal location for a family holiday with activities on site for all ages and a useful base to explore the region. The large, open, grass touring part of the site has sunny, shaded and semi-shaded areas.

While Eidertal Camping features mainly permanent pitches, 45 touring pitches with 16-Amp electric hook-up points are available on open spacious fields and are well-maintained and popular with families and senior citizens throughout the year. At Camping Am Niobe you can listen to waves, take a deep breath of healthy sea air and enjoy the untouched landscape. The site is at the Niobe Monument on the sunny island of Fehmarn and is a paradise for all those who love nature and the Baltic Sea. Surrounded by a landscape conservation area and bird sanctuaries, time stands still here, everyday life takes a break. You are very close to the Baltic Sea. No pitch is further than 100 meters from the sea view. From the dike you can enjoy the wide view over the water to Denmark. Between the pitches there are individual trees. To get to the beach, simply use the stairs, which always offer a way over the dike. For children, the site is a true play paradise. Here they can play football, basketball, beach volleyball, trampoline, slide or swing. Camping Am Niobe is located close to a sandy beach and a pebble beach. The site has 284 pitches of which 134 with 16amp hook-up point are for touring units. It is also possible to rent caravans and mobile homes.
Schlei-Karschau is a pleasant, quiet site on the only Baltic Sea fjord in Germany. All you will hear is the wind from the sea and the calls of the birds. This site is ideal if you enjoy fishing or sailing, or you could visit one of the beaches on this coast, just 10 km. to the north east. The site has 200 open pitches, 48 for touring units, all with at least 10A electricity. There is no shop as yet, but bread can be ordered from a kiosk and a restaurant, with a bar and takeaway, is open in high season.
Nordsee Camping In Lee is situated near the North German village of Stinteck and is located on a well-maintained terrain with lots of grass. Here you will find several sports fields, catering establishments and hire facilities of (electric) bicycles and scooters. It is also within walking distance of green beaches which are a feature of this region. When you explore the grounds, you will notice that the site is spaciously laid out and very neat. A large playground, volleyball field, table tennis table, bouncy castle and entertainment team (in summer) offer endless fun to, especially, young children. A special game which can be played on the campsite is Pit-Pat, a fun combination of snooker and mini golf. The site has 330 grass pitches of which 190 are for touring units with 16amp hook-up point. 140 are occupied by seasonal units
At Camping Wees am Ostseefjord Schlei there is a lot to discover and experience as it is close to a beautiful Baltic Sea fjord. Cozy little villages and picturesque landscapes. Immerse yourself in the history of the villages and towns around the Schlei, which you can explore from the site. Be active in nature, discover special places in the countryside or hop on your bike to roam the region on two wheels. Numerous bathing areas, bathing lakes and Baltic Sea beaches provide a real cooling off on summer days and a special coastal atmosphere in autumn and winter. There are 110 permanent and 40 tourist pitches (electric hook-up point 10amp), a family tent area and a separate youth meadow with a campfire place.
Ostseecamping Familie Heide is an excellent family site on the East Sea coast. Most of the 400 touring pitches are set high above the beach, so have good views over the sea. Pitching is on level, grassy fields off tarmac access roads, with sizes up to 160 sq.m. All are full service with 16A Europlug, water and drainage. Amenities on this quality site include a full supermarket with separate bakery and a butcher. Campers can enjoy many water-based activities, including diving and surfing. This is a great site for children with several adventure play areas dotted around the site and a children’s club.
Handily located on the outskirts of Lübeck, this site is only 3 km. from the autobahn exit and only a few minutes from the city centre. Camping Lübeck-Schönböcken is ideally located for an overnight stop and as a base for visiting the city and the surrounding region or travelling to Scandinavia. the site is located less than 10 miles away from the Travemünde ferry port with connections to (Trelleborg & Malmo) Sweden, (Helsinki) Finland and Latvia (Liepāja.)
Camping Kiel Falckenstein is located in the middle of a protected landscape. From the terrace you have a wonderful view of the Kiel Fjord where you can watch the boats heading up and down the fjord between Oslo and Gothenburg, including the majestic tall ships in full sail. On one area of the site is a meadow set aside for tents and divided by hedges. In another area there are pitches for caravans and motorhomes. The site has a total of 175 pitches, 60 for touring units.
This site is in a tranquil location between gentle countryside and a sandy beach on the Baltic Sea, yet just an hour away from Hamburg. There are 580 pitches, primarily by mobile homes and chalets. The 70 level touring pitches are separated by hedges and are all fully serviced. A footpath through the forest leads to the bustling family resort of Grömitz with its zoo, marina, boutiques and restaurants. Its annual pyrotechnic and laser event, The Baltic in Flames, attracts huge crowds to see this stunning display off Schleswig-Holstein’s longest pier.
This is a top class, all year round site suitable as a stopover or as a base for a longer stay. Attractively situated by the sea, it is large, mature (34 hectares) and well maintained. It has over 800 individual pitches (372 for touring) of up to 160 sq.m. in glades. Some are separated by bushes providing shade in the older parts, less so in the newer areas nearer the sea. There are many hardstandings and all pitches have electricity (16A), water and drainage. Some new rental accommodation has been added, including a ‘honeymoon mobile home’. Camping Zur Perle is directly on the North Sea beaches, on an enclosed artificial lagoon, making it an ideal place for a family holiday. It has 260 marked and numbered pitches (203 for tourers with water, 16A Europlug and waste water) on level, grassy fields with some separation by low trees and bushes. To the front of the site is a separate area for seasonal units and motorhomes. Pitches vary in size (75-140 sq.m) and there are 60 hardstandings for tourers. The campsite is close to the Schleswig-Holstein Wadden Sea National Park.
Elbdeich Camping Kollmar is wonderful little site just behind the dike at the north side of the river Elbe, about 50 kilometres northwest of Hamburg. Be aware that you pay for your stay on arrival. The owners are such lovely people and have a lot of tips for what to see in the surroundings. The site is formed from two rows of pitches, following the line of the dike. There are lots of sheep on the dike, providing visitors with ample entertainment, especially when you pass through one of the gates and climb onto the dyke. Be prepared to be searched for old bread by sheep if you sit down on the bench. There is a wonderful view from there, and lots to see for 'ship spotters'. The sunsets seen from here are wonderful.
Rosenfelder Strand is a beautiful campsite high above the East Sea beaches. The site has its own sandy beach in a sheltered area, making it safe for children to bathe. The level pitches (some hardstanding) are marked and numbered, and vary in size from 100-140 sq.m. A significant number are fully serviced. The rural location of this site ensures a quiet holiday, the only sounds being birds and the rushing of the sea. Rosenfelder Strand offers many opportunities for an active holiday as well opportunities for riding, watersports and biking.
Campingplatz Jarplund is located 2 km south of Flensburg. Despite being close to the town (Jarplund), the site is quiet and idyllic in the countryside. Flensburg can be reached quickly by public transport, bike or car and offers a beautiful old town and harbour in addition to the shopping centre.
Camping Porta del Sol is located directly on the Lensterstrand nature reserve, only a few minutes’ walk from the fine sandy Baltic Sea beach. The centre of Grömitz with its beach promenade and a variety of shops and restaurants can also be reached by car or bus within a few minutes. Whether your visit is for your annual holiday or overnight stop with your caravan, mobile home or tent, you and your family will find the site most suitable for your needs.
Insel-Camp Fehmarn was developed in 2001, but everything on this well-kept site looks brand new. The site is on the East Sea coast at the southern end of Fehmarn Island. It has 389 pitches, 160 for tourers, on grassy fields. Some are in circular bays, while others are off tarmac access lanes. All touring pitches are fully serviced with water, drainage, cable and electricity (6-16A Europlug) and vary in size from 90–200 sq.m. This is a good site both for families and couples who want to enjoy the long hours of sunshine (1,900 per year) on this bustling island.
Naturcamping Spitzen is a family run site founded in 1957. It sits on a peninsula jutting into the Great Plön Lake and provides 190 level touring pitches with 10A electricity and TV connections, many fully serviced and with panoramic views over the water.
