Erholungsgebiet Doktor-See
Erholungsgebiet Doktor-See is a large site near the town of Rinteln, on the Weser River around the Doktorsee lake. This hilly landscape with alternating agricultural and natural areas, many small towns and villages with picturesque half-timbered houses, has a friendly atmosphere. The first impression of the site is overwhelming. This is because of the enormous proportions of the grounds. The grounds are well kept, and the 1400 pitches are average in size and mostly located around the edge of the lake. Around the lake are a number of holiday cottages and mobile homes. There is also a marina, a motorboat club and a church.
Uhlenköper-Camp Uelzen
The Körding family have owned this site since 2001 and have recently been joined by their son and his family to further improve the site. Their efforts are evident with electricity connections, water taps and 85 touring pitches. Of these, 40 are fully serviced with 16A electricity, water and drainage. The pitches are arranged in seven grassy areas, each taking eight to ten units, with a separate field to one side for cyclists. Pitches are 80-100 sq.m. with shade from high bushes and some trees. To the rear of the site are some rental and private static caravans. The site also features some genuinely innovative glamping options.
Camping Paradies Gruner Jager
Grüner Jäger is a welcoming campsite nestled in the heart of the northern German countryside. It's more than just a stopover; it's a place to unwind and explore. The Everinghausen nature reserve is right on your doorstep, offering opportunities for cycling, swimming, and immersing yourself in nature. For a change of scenery, a day trip to Bremen is easily accessible. While the campsite enjoys a tranquil rural setting, its proximity to the A1 motorway ensures convenient arrival.
Camping Am Waldbad
Am Waldbad is a laid-back campsite nestled in the rolling hills and woods of the Weserbergland, just 4 kilometers from Hameln. If you crave independence and enjoy exploring, this is your perfect camping escape. Surrounded by nature, charming towns, historic castles, and villages, the campsite offers a vibrant outdoor experience. Its name reflects its idyllic location at the forest’s edge, adjacent to a refreshing swimming pool. The site itself is perched on a hill overlooking a spacious open field.
Knaus Campingpark Bleckede

The site provides 225 pitches (142 for tourers), all with a minimum of 6A electricity. Pitching is in long lanes off hard roads on grassy fields (some slightly sloping, some on terraces). There are two fully serviced pitches. To the front of the site are a shop and a large room for activities, where you can also have breakfast. Adjacent to the site are the open-air public pool (free for campers) and tennis courts. Being in a reserve, you will find plenty of information about the local flora and fauna on and around the site, including a special ‘hotel’ for bees.

This is a large site, part of which directly borders the River Elbe, with 500 pitches, of which 200 are for touring (all with electricity, water and drainage). The main part of the site is located behind a dyke and contains reception and the principal sanitary facilities. Pitches bordering and overlooking The Elbe are serviced by excellent, modern mobile sanitary units containing WCs and washbasins. Along the Elbe’s banks there are sandy areas useful for playing and sunbathing in summer with some showers. Next to the site’s main building there is a further area set aside for touring units and this has easy access to the main sanitary facilities, the bar and restaurant and children’s playground.

It offers around 220 pitches, of which 123 are for tourers, all on level, grassy ground. To the front of the site are 12 extra large motorhome pitches on hardstanding with great views over the lake, plus an area for late arrivals. The lake with its sandy beach offers opportunities for swimming and boating, and the whole area is excellent for walking and biking tours. Boat tours are organised.
Camping Sonnenberg
This is a small, friendly, family campsite tucked away amongst woodland on the edge of the village of Müden/Örtze, also known as the pearl of the southern heath. The village has a range of shops, restaurants and a bakery (fresh bread and rolls can be delivered daily by arrangement at reception). There are trees all around the campsite, but the main area is open and sunny, with views across the neighbouring fields and heath. The name 'Sonnenberg' translates as 'mountain in the sun', and pleasant views can be had from this slightly elevated position. Further afield, Hanover makes a wonderful day trip with plenty of shopping, museums and historical interest.
Camping Wilsumer Berge
This is a very large site close to the Dutch border and based around a lake, with a sandy beach area where youngsters like to swim and splash in the shallows. The campsite is set within a nature reserve, surrounded by forest and open heathland, providing a haven for wildlife.

If you're holidaying with a caravan, a motorhome or a tent this is the ideal site for you. Mobile caravan owners can dispose of sewage and waste-water and refill their tanks with fresh water at the service point. This service is free of charge for guests staying for two or more nights. For travellers staying for less than two nights a small fee is charged for the use of this service. Guests can also reserve one of their rentable caravans, which can be found on a separate site.
Knaus Campingpark Eckwarderhörne
Knaus Campingpark Eckwarderhörne is directly on the Wadden Sea National Park. This is an excellent area to enjoy the North Sea beaches and watch the tides change. It has 180 pitches, of which just 30 are for tourers, on flat and open grassy fields right behind the dyke. There are two pitches for very large units and 16 hardstandings. All are fully serviced with water, waste water and 16A electricity. Being small, it is much quieter than many of the sites along this stretch of coast. Over 250 km. of cycle routes have been laid out in the vicinity, and of course one can try the famous Wad Walking (bring your oldest clothes) to get as close as possible to the wildlife. On the Butjadingen peninsula, time seems to slow down, making this a great spot for a relaxing holiday surrounded by nature.

Camping & Ferienpark Falkensteinsee is a large, open all year site situated in a wooded area in Lower Saxony, Northern Germany. The site winds its way around the lake, the Falkensteinsee Lake. The greenery is evident everywhere, in the shape of trees and a beautiful grassy surface. The site is very spaciously laid out and exudes peace. Often, the only sound you hear is the chirping of birds. All pitches are grouped around the lake. Being so close to the lake, recreation on and near the water is a given. You can go fishing, snorkelling and scuba diving. There is a challenging large playground on a sandy surface for children. There is a small shop and Bistro outside of which there is a cosy terrace with sun umbrellas, naturally with a view over the water. The outside kitchen has a stove, kitchen sink and wooden furniture. There is a modern well maintained toilet block. It has an ecological design, everything according to the latest environmental standards. The facilities here compare very favourably with a hotel. Comfort Camping Seeburger See
Comfort Camping Seeburger See lies on the outskirts of the small village of Seeburg and is only a few hundred metres from the largest natural lake in Lower Saxony. The site has a long season, from the beginning of March to the end of December. The area is surrounded by the rolling hills of the Southern Hartz Mountains.
Campingpark Lüneburger Heide
Campingpark Luneburger Heide is situated at the heart of the Bremen, Hamburg, Hanover triangle. If you love peace and quiet and an appealing ambience, this is the place for you. On site there are many beautiful details, which have been built with a lot of passion, hay houses, petting zoo which is home to goats, chickens, rabbits and guinea pigs, and finally the planting around the lake and around the reception. If you are looking for "action", this is not the place for you. The touring pitches have a fresh water and wastewater connection. The two toilet buildings are spotlessly clean. On a warm day, there's nothing nicer than being able to cool off in the water, and the lake next to the site is perfect for it. There is a large sandy beach where you can build sandcastles, plus a sunbathing lawn. A stay here would not be complete without a visit to the Lüneburg Heath. There is a pick-up point next to the site for the 'Heide Shuttle', which takes guests to the heart of the Heath free of charge. In high season, night owls can also visit the Heath in the evenings with a ranger. All excursions are organised from the site and are suitable for the whole family.
