Venjans Camping
Venjans Camping is a small, all-year and quiet site located on the north shore of Lake Venjan in Dalarna. Surrounded by the lake on one side and by forest on the other, the site is right in the middle of nature. The ideal spot to canoe, kayak, swim, cycle, or pick berries and mushrooms in summer. There are 64 pitches for caravans/motorhomes/tents; 34 of these include 10-amp electric hook-up points. There are also 5 log cabins available to hire. The reception has a small shop for coffee/tea, candy, snacks, ice cream, buns and other food/non-food products. 
Camp Gielas
A modern municipal site with excellent sporting facilities on the outskirts of the town, Gielas is well shielded on all sides by trees, providing a very peaceful atmosphere. The 160 pitches, 81 with electricity (16A) and satellite TV connections, are level on sparse grass and accessed by tarmac roadways. The sauna and showers, sporting, gym and Internet facilities at the sports hall are free to campers. Also on site is a snackbar. The lake on the site is suitable for boating, bathing and fishing. There is a swimming pool and a nine-hole golf course nearby, and hunting trips can be arranged. A useful site when heading further North or South.
Snibbens Camping & Stugby och Vandrarhem
Probably, you will stop here for one night as you travel the E4 coast road and stay a week. It is a stunning location in the area of ‘The High Coast’ listed as a World Heritage Site. During high season, Snibbens is a busy, popular site but remains quiet and peaceful. Besides 36 bungalows to rent, there are 60 touring places, each with 16A electricity, set amongst delightful scenery on the shores of Lake Mörtsjön. The welcoming owners take you to your adequately sized grass pitch set amongst spacious trees. All the site facilities are to the highest of standards, spotlessly clean, with entry to the toilets and showers (stretched in high season) by use of a pass card presented to you on arrival. You are also provided with the security code for the site entrance barrier. To one end of the campsite, there is a beach where the waters are suitable for swimming with a zoned area for young children. Here you will also find a second play area, minigolf and additional toilets. A little further on, is the site’s restaurant where your choice of food can range from a burger to ‘à la carte’ whilst on the terrace overlooking the lake as the sun sets.
Östersunds Camping
Östersund lies on Lake Storsjön, which is Sweden’s Loch Ness, with 200 sightings of the monster dating back to 1635, and more recently captured on video in 1996. Also worthy of a visit is the island of Frösön where settlements can be traced back to prehistoric times. This large site has 254 pitches off tarmac roads; electricity (10A) and TV socket are available on 131, while 28 are fully serviced with WiFi at extra cost. There are also 41 tarmac hardstandings available, and over 190 cottages, cabins and rooms to rent. Adjacent to the site is the municipal swimming pool complex with cafeteria (indoor and outdoor pools), a Scandic hotel with restaurant, minigolf, and a Statoil filling station. A large supermarket and bank are just 500 m. from the site, and Östersund town centre is 3 km.
Mora Parkens Camping
Mora, at the northern end of Lake Silijan, is surrounded by small localities all steeped in history and culture. On the island of Sollerön, south of Mora, is evidence of a large Viking burial ground. Traditional handicrafts are still practised in the region. Mora is lively, friendly and attractive.
Sollerö Camping
Sollerö Camping is an all-year, terraced site in the Dalamas region that is excellent for those who wish to explore the beautiful district of Siljan. It is fantastic for those who wish to explore this beautiful district. The site has 257 pitches, of which 133 are for touring units and have a 16-amp hook-up point, and 15 bungalows/chalets are available for hire. Down by the lake, there is also a tent area equipped with tables and benches. 
Strömsunds Camping
A quiet waterside town on the north-south route 45, known as the Inlandsvägen, Strömsund is a good place to begin a journey on the Wilderness Way. This is route 342, which heads northwest towards the mountains at Gäddede and the Norwegian border. Being on the confluence of many waterways, there is a wonderful feeling of space and freedom in Strömsund. There are 150 touring pitches (94 with 10A electricity) set on a gentle grassy slope backed by forest. Another part of the site, across the road, overlooks the lake. Cabins are set in circular groups of either six or seven. The town council owns the site.
Camp Nydala-Umeå
An ideal stopover for those travelling the E4 coastal route and a good base from which to explore the area, this campsite is 6 km. from the centre of this university city. It is almost adjacent to the Nydalsjön lake, ideal for fishing, windsurfing, bathing and canoeing. There are 450 grassy pitches arranged in bays of 10-20 units, 320 with electricity (10/16A), and some are fully serviced.
Svegs Camping
On the ‘Inlandsvägen’ route through Sweden, the town centre is only a short walk from this neat, friendly site. Two supermarkets, a café and a tourist information office, are adjacent. The 91 pitches are in rows, on level grass, divided into bays by tall hedges, and with electricity (10/16A) available to 70. The site has boats, canoes and bicycles for hire, and the river frontage has a barbecue area with covered seating and fishing platforms. Alongside the river with its fountain and running through the site is a pleasant well-lit riverside walk.
Jokkmokks Camping Center
This attractive site is just 8 km from the Arctic Circle. Large and well organised, it is bordered on one side by the river and by woodland on the other and is just 3 km from the town centre. It has 170 level, grassy touring pitches, an area for tents, and 58 cabins to rent. Electricity (10A) is available to 159 pitches. The site has a heated, open-air pool complex open in summer (no lifeguard).
Västanviksbadets Camping
Located in the heart of the picturesque Dalarna region, directly on the shores of Lake Siljan, Västanviksbadets Camping Leksand offers a serene escape for those seeking a tranquil holiday. This charming campsite is particularly suited for couples without children, singles, and retirees, as it prioritises a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere.  It does not have a playground or entertainment. Located just 4 kilometres outside Leksand on the western side of Lake Siljan, the campsite boasts a spacious 4-hectare area and is conveniently situated for exploring the surrounding region.
Tällberg Camping
On the eastern shore of Lake Siljan, between Leksand and Rättvik, Tällbergs Camping offers a tranquil escape in the heart of the Dalarna region. This small, unpretentious site is perfect for those seeking peace and quiet, with its spacious pitches and scenic waterfront views.  The site has 77 pitches, of which 53 are for touring units, have a 10-amp hook-up point, and there are 5 log cabins available for hire. The pitches are spacious, and the pitches at the water's edge are magical. The site's rural setting is ideal for exploring the area on foot or by bike, with plenty of beautiful walks and cycling trails nearby.
Flogsta Camping
Kramfors lies just west of the E4, and travellers may pass by over the Höga Kusten bridge and miss this friendly little site. This area of Ådalen and the High Coast reaches as far as Örnsköldsvik. The attractive garden-like campsite has 32 pitches, 21 with electricity connections (10A), arranged on level grassy terraces, separated by shrubs and trees into bays of two to four units. The non-electric pitches are on an open terrace nearer to the reception. All pitches overlook the heated outdoor public swimming pool complex and an attractive minigolf course.
Slagnäs Camping
Slagnäs Camping is in Slagnäs, close to the Norrbotten/Vasterbotten border, located in a wood and near a river. This terraced site is in a corner of Lapland that has many fishing opportunities. The site is surrounded by countryside where you can spend your days walking, fishing and canoeing. It may feel relatively remote, but in fact, it’s easy to get to. The site has 82 grass/hardstanding pitches, of which 60 are for touring units, 16-amp hook-up points, 3 seasonal pitches and 19 log cabins and bungalows available to hire.
Camp Ripan
Nestled amidst the breathtaking scenery of Swedish Lapland, Camp Ripan is an oasis of comfort and adventure. This family-owned establishment, just a short drive from Kiruna city centre, invites travellers to immerse themselves in the region's natural splendour while enjoying many amenities and activities. On-site, you will find 92 touring pitches with electric hook-up points available from Easter to September, and there are a variety of cosy accommodation options to suit every traveller's needs available all year. Choose from modern cabins, each equipped with its own ski shed, or opt for one of the hotel's comfortable rooms.
Camping Saiva
Saiva Camping is situated by Lake Baksjön at the edge of Vilhelmina, about 1 kilometre from the town centre. The campsite has 55 touring pitches, 40 of which have electric hook-up points, and there are also 21 cabins available to hire. For those who want to take full advantage of Lake Baksjön, the campsite has a sandy beach where you can take a dip and go swimming. You will also find a diving board with hours of fun jumping into the water. The campsite also offers rentals of kayaks and pedal boats for those who want to explore the surrounding area by water. There is also plenty of fishing here and in the surrounding area of the campsite for avid anglers.
Camp Route 45
Camp Route 45 is a campsite in Hammerdal, Sweden. It is open all year round and located right next to the Ammerån River, so it is ideal for those seeking a holiday with lots of activities available right on your doorstep. On-site, there are 40 touring pitches with electric hook-up points available, and some are located right by the river. Pitches are spaciously laid out, making it an ideal setting for those who wish to enjoy peace and quiet. Camp Route 45 is a good option for those looking for a basic campsite with a variety of amenities. On-site facilities include a cosy restaurant that serves fika (coffee and pastries) and other meals, such as burgers. There is also a swimming lake located right in the centre of the campsite, perfect for taking a refreshing dip on hot summer days. The site is located right next to the Ammerån River, making it a popular spot for fishing enthusiasts. Fishing licenses can be purchased at the reception.

North

In central and northern Sweden, you’ll discover beautiful forests and numerous lakes which are perfect for ice skating in winter. Further north bear, elk, wolverine and the rare artic fox all have their home here whilst to the east the coastline is peppered by islands and skerries.
