Alan Rogers Review of Camping le Brégoux
Situated in the picturesque village of Aubignan, only five minutes drive from Carpentras, and less than a half hour away from Avignon, Orange, Vaison-la-Romaine and the Luberon mountains, Le Brégoux offers peaceful and quiet surroundings. This reasonably priced site has 170 average sized, grass pitches, 164 for touring all with 10A electricity. There is no shop, bar or restaurant on site but the village, within a short walking distance, offers various supermarkets, bars and real French ambience. Le Brégoux is an ideal starting point for hiking and cycling, well known for the climb to the summit of Mount Ventoux.
From here one may enjoy the summer events at the nearby centres of Carpentras, Orange or even the bull fights at Nîmes.
Facilities at Camping le Brégoux
Three conveniently positioned toilet blocks provide open washbasins and for ladies some are in cabins. Accessible facilities, Laundry facilities. No shop but bread and pastries available (08.00-10.00, 15/3-15/10). Play area. Tennis, table tennis, boules. Some entertainment programmes (June-Sept).
Directions to Camping le Brégoux
From A7 exit 22 (Orange Sud), south on N7, shortly turn east on D950 towards Carpentras. In Sarrians turn left, D55 to Aubignan (5 km). Site well signed in the village.
