wecamp Cabo de Gata is located in the heart of the Cabo de Gata-Níjar Natural Park in Almería, Spain, near the small fishing village of Las Negras. The site is situated in the adjacent bay 1.5 km from the town on a secluded stretch of beach.

Camping Peña Montañesa
A large site situated in the Pyrenees near the Ordesa National Park, Peña Montañesa is easily accessible from Ainsa or from France via the Bielsa Tunnel (steep sections on the French side). The site is essentially divided into three sections opening progressively throughout the season and all have shade. The 330 pitches on fairly level grass are of about 75 sq.m. and 6/10A electricity is available on virtually all (no charge is made for upgrade). Grouped near the entrance are the facilities that make the site so attractive, including an outdoor pool and a heated (out of season), glass covered indoor pool with jacuzzi and sauna. Here too is an attractive bar/restaurant with an open fire and a terrace; a supermarket and takeaway are opposite.

Sites et Paysages Camping Au Clos de la Chaume is a pleasant site within walking distance of the town, on level ground with a small stream. The friendly family owners, who are British and French, live on-site and do their best to ensure campers have an enjoyable, relaxing stay. The grassy pitches are level, of varying sizes and with varying amounts of sun and shade. All touring pitches have electricity hook-ups (6/10A), and some are divided by shrubs and trees.

On arriving at Huttopia Saumur with its colourful, floral entrance, a friendly greeting awaits you. The site is set beside a restored farmhouse with beautiful views from one end over the Loire Valley. It is owned by a charitable organisation that provides employment for local people with disabilities. The 120 grass touring pitches are level and spacious, with some new larger ones (100sq.m. at extra cost – state preference when booking). All pitches have electricity 16/A and are separated by low hedges and trees which offer some shade. Water points are easily accessible around the site.

It is a quiet site, 900 m. from the ornithological reserve of Marquenterre, the favourite stop for thousands of migratory birds; birdwatchers will appreciate the dawn chorus and varied species. This eight-hectare site has 197 pitches, 79 for touring, on level grass with 6/10A electricity.

Castel Camping le Château de Lez Eaux
Set in the grounds of a château, Castel Camping le Château de Lez Eaux lies in a rural situation just off the main route south, under two hours from Cherbourg. Of the 122 touring pitches, all with electricity (10A, Europlug) and 87 with water and drainage. Most of the pitches are good-sized, partly separated by trees and shrubs on flat or slightly sloping, grassy ground overlooking Normandy farmland and a small fishing lake.

It lies in the village of Bruck at the northern end of the Großglocknerstrasse mountain road in the Hohe Tauern National Park, near the Zeller See. Camping Huttopia Lac de l'Uby is a campsite located in Cazaubon, France, in the Gers department of the Occitanie region. It is situated on the shores of Lac de l'Uby, a lake that offers swimming, fishing, and boating. The site has 211 pitches, of which 106 are for touring units, and have a 16-amp hook-up point. There are also 105 safari tents and chalets available to hire. The pitches come in different sizes. They have a flat surface and are surrounded by shrubs and plants to provide privacy; some are located right by the water, giving a great view of the lake and its surroundings.

Bordering the Layon river, around 100 good sized grass pitches (73 for tourers) are reasonably level and fully serviced (10A electricity, water tap and drain) but have little shade. Le Moulin is a member of the Huttopia group and is situated just 300 m. from the centre of Saint Martin-d’Ardèche. The site has its own river beach and is well placed for canoe trips on the Ardèche. There are 121 touring pitches here, extending over the site’s seven hectares. The pitches have varying degrees of shade and most have 10A electricity. Rental accommodation includes eight modern wood chalets, 39 safari tents (many with a bathroom) and 16 Romany-style caravans. Amenities include a pleasant snack bar and a café. A children’s club operates in peak season, focusing on craft activities and games.

You are assured of a warm welcome at this immaculate site, beautifully situated beside the shallow River Dordogne and just a few kilometres from Argentat. There are 120 large, gently sloping grass pitches, 118 for touring. Separated by a large variety of beautiful trees and shrubs offering varying amounts of shade, all have 6A electricity, and many have good views over the River Dordogne as the pitches nearest the river are slightly terraced.

Camping Ribamar lies to the north of Alcossebre, tucked away within the National Park of the Sierra de Irta, a magnificent landscape of intense colours. Alcossebre is a delightful resort town which has retained its Spanish identity, unlike some of the larger resorts to the north, and offers three Blue Flag beaches and a wealth of cafés and restaurants. Although a little over two hours drive south of Barcelona, this is a very underpopulated region with excellent long-distance footpaths and cycle paths.

The gardens are beautiful, which gives a wonderful sense of tranquillity. It is very easy to relax on this ecologically friendly site. Systems of reed filters enhance the efficient natural drainage.

Huttopia Sarlat (Formerly Les Perières) is a pleasant small site set on an attractive, wooded, terraced hillside within walking distance of the beautiful medieval town of Sarlat. The 107 touring pitches (all with 6A electricity) are arranged around the semi-circle of a fairly steep slope, overlooking a central leisure area that includes indoor and outdoor swimming pools and a tennis court. They range from 80-100 sq.m.  Mixed pine and deciduous trees provide dappled shade. Close to the central buildings are numerous walnut trees (the walnuts can be bought in the campsite shop).

One hour from Paris, on the banks of the Seine and overlooked by the impressive remains of Château Gaillard (Richard Coeur de Lion), this attractive and spacious ten-hectare site will appeal to couples and young families. L’Eden is open to touring units in summer and winter. It is beside the Isere river and set in beautiful woodland glades, perfect for winter skiing and walking and cycling in summer.
