Sportcamp Woferlgut, a family run site, is one of the best in Austria. It lies in the village of Bruck at the northern end of the Großglocknerstrasse mountain road in the Hohe Tauern National Park, near the Zeller See. The level, grass pitches are marked out by shrubs and each has 16A metered electricity, water, drainage, cable TV socket and a gas point. The site’s own lake is popular for swimming and sunbathing, and has an adventure timber ropeway and playground. A free entertainment programme for kids of all ages is provided during the peak periods. The first class toilet and shower facilities, as well as a wellness center and 5 pools, has everything you need for a relaxing stay in the Austrian mountains.
This includes live music evenings, a club for children, weekly barbecues and guided Nordic walks, cycle and mountain tours. The 300 sqm fitness centre has a fully equipped gym, whilst another building contains 4 sauna's, infrared cabin and cold dip, Turkish bath, solarium, massage (charged) and a restaurant with bar and own winecellar. In winter, a cross-country skiing trail and toboggan run lead from the site and a free bus service is provided to nearby skiing facilities. With Salzburg to the north and Innsbruck to the northwest, the management is pleased to advise on local attractions and tours, making this a splendid base for an active family holiday.
