This Atlantic coast holiday site, with direct access to a fine sandy beach, is on undulating terrain amongst tall pine trees. A large site with almost 500 pitches, there are 233 hardstanding pitches of varying sizes for touring units, all with electricity (10A). One half of the site is a traffic free zone (except for arrival or departure day, caravans are placed on the pitch, with separate areas outside for parking). There are 71 tent pitches, those in the centre of the site having some of the best views. This popular site has an excellent range of facilities available for the whole season.
A great deal of care and attention to detail has gone into developing this compact adult only site and its superb facilities. Of its 45 pitches, only 12 are available for camping and advance booking is essential. The site is beautifully landscaped with flora and fauna and the facilities are sympathetically incorporated into a former textile factory. It has a very attractive solar heated pool and sunbathing terrace, with bar and snack service and on-site shop. The river is directly accessed from the site with a delightful bridge walkway crossing a waterfall and leading to a sports and picnic area.
Chateau de Lacomté is an adults-only campsite on 32 acres of parkland within the heart of 'The Causses du Quercy Regional Natural Park along the route of St Jacques de Compostelle. It is the perfect stop for those that want to explore the Lot and the Dordogne.
Fields End Water Caravan Park attracts many visitors year-round. Enthusiastic anglers will find fishing for all levels; ramblers can enjoy the flat, expansive Fenland countryside, and those who just want to sit back and relax can do so in beautiful and natural surroundings thanks to their adult-only policy and the fact that they are not near any major roads or under any flight paths. 33 exclusive caravan pitches can be found in the Main Park along with the reception/shop, which sells bait suitable for the on-site lakes, tea/coffee and some useful supplies, snacks and sweets. An additional 18 pitches can be found in the "Paddock" and a further 20 in “Waterside”. The site also has 5 lodges and 4 glamping pods to rent. The campsite is dog-friendly with lots of opportunities for walking around the 5-acre woods.
Offering an outdoor pool, Aux Lodges du Mas de Nadal is set on 30 hectares in Sauliac-sur-Célé in the Midi-Pyrénées Region. The property is located 2km from the river le Cele, 31 km from Rocamadour and 24 km from Cahors. Free WiFi is available throughout the site. Guests can stay in 24 private safari lodges and relax under a covered terrace. All units include a seating area. Or, if you would like to stay with your tent, you have 12 secluded camping pitches to choose from. These pitches are not accessible by caravan or campervan, tents only. The campsite offers a restaurant and bar where you can sample and enjoy meals from local producers.
Royal Vale Caravan Park is a family run site for adults only located in countryside close to Knutsford, with Tatton Park and other attractions nearby. Expect a relaxed stay all year round on 52 all-weather pitches (some seasonal), each with water, electricity and drainage, attractively arranged around a fully appointed, heated, modern central toilet block. There are a further 10 grass pitches for tents. Access to the level, gravel and solid hardstandings is via compacted gravel roadways, landscaped on grass with mature and developing hedges and trees. The River Peover borders the park and a pleasant walk takes you along the valley to Lower Peover. The site also has 8 lodges available to rent. Minimum stay on Bank Holidays is 3 nights.
A small and secluded garden site for adults only, Bath Chew Valley has been developed with much tender love and care by the Betton family, who are rightly proud of their David Bellamy Gold award. Hardstanding pitches are sited amongst colourful beds of flowers, shrubs and trees. Cars are tucked away on the nearby car park, providing a tranquil and restful atmosphere. An area of woodland is adjacent with an enclosed dog walking area called Puppies’ Parade. The warden will assist you in placing your caravan.
Within the countryside of Saint-Martial-Viveyrol in the heart of the Périgord Vert region of the Dordogne, Camping La Grande Evasion is a small adults only site owned and operated by John and Hazel Gourley, boast just four touring pitches with electric hook up points and water available. This limited number ensures a quiet and uncrowded atmosphere for those who wish to stay here.
Lough Arrow Touring Park is an adults-only campsite situated on the shores of Lough Arrow in County Sligo, Ireland. It is a quiet and peaceful park with stunning views of the lake. The park has a range of pitches, including 26 touring pitches with 10A electric hook-up points. Lough Arrow is famous for brown trout fishing, and the season runs from the 1st of April - to the 30th of September. This is Free - No permit needed. You can also find a club room with a TV, board games, and book swap on-site. They also offer a breakfast service here, which is served in the club room. There is a small camper kitchen with a kettle and fridge. Here, you will also find a fisherman's drying area for wet clothes.
Set in woodland within the privately owned grounds of the Snelston Estate, this site presents a charming, tranquil haven for those seeking a leafy retreat. The 900-acre estate has walks on local footpaths. The 52 pitches, constructed from local limestone are level, each with 10A electricity hook-up. Expect to see shafts of light falling on irregularly arranged pitches allowing a sense of privacy within the tall trees that give the site its name. These trees help screen out low level traffic noise, which is much reduced at night. The modern, clean toilet block is tastefully coloured to blend with the surroundings.
A well maintained, family owned campsite with 55 large touring pitches close to the City of York. The majority of pitches are fully serviced with electricity (16A), water, waste point and TV hook-up. This is an adults only site with a large fishing lake and picnic area in the centre. Surrounded by open fields grazed by the family farm’s organic cattle, it is conveniently located just two miles from York city centre. Access to the site is via a fob operated barrier for which a refundable £10 deposit is required. Some road noise may be experienced but it is not intrusive.
Somers Wood is a quiet, peaceful park, attractively situated amongst mixed conifers and deciduous trees. A very pleasant park which only accepts adults and does not take tents, it is especially convenient for those visiting shows at the NEC in Birmingham when it can get very busy.
Smithy Fields is an adult-only site situated in the heart of the village of Alstonefield. This picturesque Peak District village sits above the valley nestled between Dovedale and Wolfescote Dale. Smithy Fields is a very small site and does not accept groups or tents over 5m or motorhomes over 8m.
Round Oak Farm is a smaller, CL-style campsite on a working farm that focuses mainly on rare breed sheep and cows. Located in the heart of the Kentish countryside, south of the county town of Maidstone. The grassland farm consists of 180 acres, including 5 acres of a natural oak woodland walk and 9 acres of walking routes open to guests. Dogs are allowed on site but must be kept on a lead at all times.
Grange Farm Touring Park is a tranquil, adult only site set alongside the River Wissey, which is ideal for fishing, boating or just a relaxing stroll along the river. The site has 20 grass touring pitches (some seasonal) with electric hook-up points. Small but modern toilet blocks with hot water and showers plus accessible facilities, outside wash-up area and laundry room. Directly opposite the site entrance is a garage with a good mini market. In the nearby village of Stoke Ferry there are take-aways and a small general store. Grange Farm Touring Park welcomes guests who don’t always have a need for a site under permanent supervision. Although on arrival you may well find the site unattended, when you made a phone call to book you will have been given access to all you need including the code for the gate and all relevant information to make for an enjoyable stay. An unattended site means there is no one on site to answer your queries or questions but that should not detract from what we hope is a relaxing time. N.B. The site does not accept tents.
The Ashes is a small, friendly, adults only park in an extremely peaceful setting in the rolling Cumbrian countryside, yet less than three miles from the M6, and only slightly further from Kendal. Thus it is not only a convenient night stop, but also a useful base from which to explore the Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales. A very tidy park, the central grass area is attractively planted with shrubs and bushes and there is an open vista (with little shade). There are 25 hardstanding gravel pitches, all with 10A electrical connections. These are neatly placed around the perimeter with an oval access road. The whole area slopes gently down from the entrance, with some pitches fairly level and others with a little more slope (levelling system for caravans on all pitches). No tents are accepted other than trailer tents.
This picturesque site developed on a former farm is located between the National Parks of Dwingelderveld and Weerribben, in the heart of Meeuwenveen. The site is child-free and prides itself on the absence of playgrounds, recreational programmes and restaurants. There are 40 very spacious, fully serviced pitches with water, drainage and electricity. They are arranged over five fields, most are 130 sq.m. and all are bordered by trees, hedges and shrubs. There are also three apartments to rent. This site is perfect for couples looking to relax with complete peace and quiet or to explore the local walking trails, cycle routes and National Parks.
La Grenouille Vacances is a little paradise 'Adults Only' in the Dordogne situated on a plateau in the countryside with forests and meadows. A comfortable small campsite with eight spacious pitches is well maintained, private, sunny, and shaded. With an outdoor swimming pool with a terrace, you have a beautiful view of Hautefort. The sanitary block is new, modern and very clean. There are two showers, 2 WCs, three sinks, two hand basins, a washing machine and a tumble dryer. There are a fridge, freezer and microwave free to use, even as Wifi. There are also central BBQs with pick-nick tables available, as well as a herb garden. Several times a week, the campsite owners cook for guests and serve the meals in their restaurant or on the terrace
Chacewater Park is a large peaceful site set in the beautiful Cornish countryside and makes an idea place to relax yet is just five miles from Truro and the site makes an ideal location for touring Cornwall.

Adult-Only Camping is a uniquely British concept that hasn't taken hold on the continent. Campsites that don't accept children in France, Spain or Portugal are a rarity, with only a handful of sites in France and even fewer in Spain, Germany and the Netherlands.
