Camping Huttopia De Roos
De Roos is a family run site in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, truly a nature lovers’ campsite, immersed in an atmosphere of tranquillity. It is situated in Overijssel’s Vecht Valley, a unique region set in a river dune landscape on the River Vecht. The river and its tributary wind their way unhurriedly around and through this spacious campsite. It is a natural setting that the owners of De Roos have carefully preserved. The 275 pitches and necessary amenities have been blended into the landscape with great care. Pitches, most with electricity hook-up (6A Europlug), are naturally sited, some behind blackthorn thickets, in the shadow of an old oak or in a clearing scattered with wild flowers.

Camping De Rammelbeek
Camping de Rammelbeek in Overijssel is a real family business with Henri Groeneveld as current owner together with his wife he has taken over from his father, Hennie Groeneveld. It has 220 pitches (some seasonal, some annual), 80 for touring units of which 33 have private toilet facilities.
Camping De Vechtvallei
Camping De Vechtvallei is in the River Vecht valley, surrounded by magnificent, varied scenery of forests, dunes and lakes. Of the 170 pitches, 45 are for touring, on grass and separated by hedges. All have 16A electricity and 14 are fully serviced. There are central play areas for young children. In addition, there are chalets, hiker cabins and bungalows to rent. The countryside can be appreciated from the restaurant and bar terrace and explored on foot and by bicycle on the many paths and tracks. Visitors can enjoy the sports and activities offered by the site that range from volleyball to flower arranging. A recreation programme which runs in holiday time caters for all ages. The restaurant serves snacks and a lunchtime menu as well as à la carte and is next to the bar.
Camping De Noetselerberg
Camping De Noetselerberg is located in Nijverdal, Overijssel, Netherlands. It is a beautifully situated campsite with plenty of facilities for campers of all ages. The 200 grass touring pitches are spacious and arranged on open fields, surrounded by trees and shrubs. All have 10A electricity, water and drainage. Good quality facilities include a well-equipped toilet block and a fine restaurant, De Oale Sté, with a terrace.
Camping Si-Es-An
Located in the picturesque Het Reestdal, a historic landscape bordering Overijssel and Drenthe, Si Es An Camping offers a perfect escape for nature lovers. This well-maintained campsite boasts clean facilities, spacious pitches, and easy access to beautiful cycling and walking trails. As you enter the campsite, you'll be greeted by a charming setting with bungalows on one side and expansive camping areas on the other. There are 69 touring pitches that have 10 amp electric hook up points available. Pitches are generously sized and surrounded by trees for a touch of privacy. While there are no physical dividers between pitches, the spacious layout ensures ample room for a relaxing holiday.
Camping Papillon Country Resort
De Papillon is perhaps one of the best and most enjoyable campsites in the Netherlands. All 245 touring pitches are spacious (120-160 sq.m), all have electricity (4/10/16A), and TV; a further 220 have water and drainage. An impressive, new sanitary block has state-of-the-art equipment and uses green technology. There is a new entertainment centre with an outdoor auditorium for children, and the water play area by the adventure playground and covered, heated pool are among the most imaginative and exciting we have seen, making it ideal for families. The restored heathland area offers opportunities for nature lovers; there is also a large fishing lake and a swimming lake with beach area and activities. A member of Leading Campings group.
Resort de Arendshorst
A most peaceful and spacious site, Resort de Arendshorst is located about 2.5 hours East of the Hook of Holland and could make a convenient stopover on the way to Germany or Scandinavia. Michael, the owner and his family, are friendly and accommodating, and the friendly staff all speak English, with an English language handbook given to guests upon arrival. The onsite restaurant and bar are popular and of high quality. The facilities are all immaculate, with hot water for showers and washing up available with a pre-paid card.
Vakantiepark de Luttenberg
A modern indoor pool and wellness centre can be found at this very smart woodland site, which is well placed for either an active or peaceful holiday. It is a large park with 190 touring pitches (all with 10A electricity) in a central area off tarmac access roads. The large, individual pitches are numbered and separated, in rows divided by hedges and trees, with easy access. A number of larger 200m² pitches are available. There is a large bar and eating area with terrace and a small, separate restaurant. There is a comprehensive activity programme for children in high season.
Camping Heidepark
Camping Heidepark is centrally located in Overijssel, near the Salland Ridge, and convenient for excellent hiking and cycling routes. This southern tip of the Overijssels Vecht valley has a great deal to offer holidaymakers. Heidepark is a car-free site, set in spacious, landscaped parkland. There are 100 touring pitches (all with 6/10A electricity, water, drainage and TV connections) spread across eight camping fields. Pitches are arranged around the edge of the grassy fields and are bordered by thick woods. A large, indoor activity room will appeal to all children, including teenagers. There is plenty of space for children to play safely in the middle of each field.
Camping De Pallegarste
Camping De Pallegarste is located in the Vecht Valley in Overijssel, Netherlands, between Ommen and Hardenberg. It's an excellent destination for families and boasts a variety of amenities that will make your stay enjoyable. On-site, there are 110 spacious touring pitches with electric hook-up points, divided by mature hedging, giving each pitch plenty of privacy. A variety of accommodation options are also available for rent.
Camping Attractiepark Slagharen
The main attraction of Camping Attractiepark Slagharen is its location beside a theme park, where visitors staying on the site have free access to the attractions. Here you will also find a large supermarket, clothes shops and bars, and American and Chinese restaurants. The site itself only has a snack bar and the bar where discos and country evenings are organised. All 229 reasonably spacious touring pitches are level and on the grass with 10A electricity. They are partly separated by hedges, though generally with an open aspect. The large outdoor pool has many features.
Camping De Borkeld
Located in the countryside area of Markelo, this site provides 80 spacious touring pitches and 135 seasonal places. Some pitches are on level grass fields, others are in a wooded area of the campsite. All have 6A electricity connections, water and drainage. The site is open rather than shady. The grass on the pitches had been cut, although other areas would have benefited from attention. The principal amenities are open from May to September.
Camping Hoeve Springendal
Camping Hoeve Springendal is near Ootmarsum in the Overijssel region, a rural location, a five minutes' drive from Hezingen and a short drive from the German border. This part of the world is known as the 'Garden of the Netherlands’ and is an ideal place for outings on foot or by bike, taking in forests, streams and heathland along the way. The site has 71 pitches of which 58 are for touring units and have a 10-amp hook-up point. There are also 13 accommodation units available to hire.
De Lemeler Esch
Natuurcamping De Lemeler Esch is reminiscent of camping as it used to be, but with modern facilities including 190 spacious grass pitches for touring units, 114 with all comforts such as water, drainage, electricity, cable TV, WiFi and even a private bathroom if desired. The pitches are arranged on large grass meadows, some with shade from tall trees, others more in the open. The natural woodland setting gives this site a special atmosphere that allows children to explore and make friends. The good playground and a heated swimming pool are additional fun for children. This site will also appeal to adults as there are kilometres of cycling and walking tracks in the woods and across the moors.
Vakantiepark Het Stoetenslagh
Arriving at Het Stoetenslagh and passing reception, you reach the pride of the campsite; a large natural lake with several little beaches. Many hours can be spent swimming, canoeing or sailing a dinghy here. There are 341 spacious grass touring pitches (120-140 sq.m) divided between several fields and arranged around clean sanitary buildings. Each field also has a small volleyball area and climbing frames. You may choose between nature pitches, standard pitches or serviced pitches with water, drainage, 10A electricity and cable connection. There are climbing frames for children, much space for playing, a children’s club and, particularly popular with little ones, a small animal farm.
Camping De Koeksebelt
Camping De Koeksebelt is a well maintained, green site with 250 fully serviced, spacious touring pitches. All are equipped with 10A electricity, water, drainage and TV cable connections and are accessed off paved roads. Some hardstandings are available. Many of the pitches are on the banks of the river and are ideal for anglers as they can fish from their pitch. Good play areas will appeal to both children and their parents. The sanitary facilities are modern and very well maintained. The site borders a large wooded area and is within walking distance of the town of Ommen, where the amenities include a swimming pool.
Park Camping Mooi Delden
This small, friendly site is located in parkland surroundings on the eastern side of Twente. It is a green site with very spacious grassy pitches (100-130 sq.m), all with 10A electricity and arranged around two open plan fields. The pitches around the perimeter of the field are shaded by mature trees. There are two small play areas set amongst the pitches, while other facilities include minigolf, a café with terrace and a small animal petting corner. Next to the campsite is a heated swimming pool with a children’s pool, sunbathing area and a sports centre.
Camping De Holterberg
De Holterberg, family run for 62 years, is located in the Sallandse Heuvelrug nature reserve near the Holterberg hill. The wooded site is open all year with 250 level pitches, all with 6A electricity. A new, impressive reception with a separate bar/restaurant are in traditional, thatched buildings. Children will love the animal park and the new play area with its large equipment. The site has very large woods for walking and is very close to long-distance paths. Solar energy use and a new wood burning system promote its green image.
Camping De Weuste
Camping de Weuste is in the heart of Twente, a very characteristic part of Overijssel on the Almelo-Nordhorn canal and near the three-part nature reserve De Weuste Maten, the Reutumerveen and the Reutumer Weuste, after which the park is named. The site has 193 pitches of which 91 are for touring units and have a 10-amp hook-up point, 101 seasonal and there is a bungalow for hire. The spacious touring pitches, separated by hedges for privacy, are located in a dedicated area close to the park's amenities.
Camping De Vossenburcht
A pleasant, wooded family campsite in a rural location in the north of the country, Familiecamping De Vossenburcht has 370 pitches of which many are seasonal, with 100 available for tourers and some accommodation for hire. They are level, a few in the open but mainly among the trees, and with electrical connections available.
