At Camping de l’Etang many of the 125 large, level touring pitches have pleasant views across the countryside. Separated and numbered, some have a little shade and all have electricity (16A) with water and drainage nearby; 24 are fully serviced. A small bridge crosses the River Aubance which runs through the site (well-fenced), and there are two lakes where free fishing can be enjoyed. The site has a vineyard and the wine produced can be purchased on the campsite. The adjacent Parc de Loisirs is a paradise for young children with many activities (discounts for campers). These include boating, pedaloes, pony rides, miniature train, a water slide, a bouncy castle and swings. Originally the farm of the Château de Brissac (yet only 24 km. from the lovely town of Angers), this is an attractive campsite retaining much of its rural charm. It is part of the EcoEtang association, which supports disabled adults and employs them in its two campsites. It also owns the vineyard and operates a gardening business. The site is very well managed, with great attention to detail to ensure an enjoyable stay. The site is personable and welcoming, with the many attractions of the Loire close at hand.
Facilities
Three well-maintained toilet blocks provide all the usual facilities. Laundry facilities. Baby room. Accessible facilities. Motorhome services. The farmhouse houses reception, a shop (all season) and takeaway snacks (seasonal) when the bar is closed. A bar/restaurant serves crêpes, salads, etc. (evenings July/Aug). Swimming pool (heated and covered) and paddling pool. Fishing. Play area. Bicycle hire. Wide variety of evening entertainment for families in high season. WiFi throughout (charged).

Brissac-Quincé is 17 km. southeast of Angers on D748 towards Poitiers. Do not enter the town but turn north on D55 (site signed) towards St Mathurin.
