A large, lively, high quality site bordering the River Ardèche, complete with beach, Soleil Vivarais has much to offer visitors, particularly families with children. Of around 300 pitches, 130 are generously sized, shady and level pitches are for touring units, all with 10A electricity and many are situated beside the river bank. During the day the proximity of the swimming pools to the bar and restaurant terraces make it a pleasantly social area. In the evening the purpose built stage, with professional lighting and sound system, provides regular family entertainment programmes, six evenings a week. An additional attractive pool complex can be used by guests located in a separate mobile home section beyond the beach.
The entertainment programme is extensive in the high season and acceptable in low season. Evening offerings include dances, concerts, karaoke and items for the miniclub. The campsite maintains a sandy beach from June onwards and the river has a barrage with canoe descent near the site. Canoe and bicycle hire can be arranged allowing the exploration of the Ardèche Gorge. The water in the river below the barrage is shallow in high season, whilst some areas are deep all year, swimming is always safer in one of the many pools on the campsite.
