Balears

Menorca

Menorca, steeped in history and blanketed by mystery, is an enchanting island of roughly 270 square miles in area. The C721 highway provides the back-bone to the island, connecting modest market towns to Mahon (the main town) in the east and Ciutadella in the west.

Ciutadella

Mahon

Classic Georgian-style buildings, complete with sash windows, will endear Mahon to the British traveller. Its impressive harbour was captured by the British in 1708 during the Spanish War of Succession. In complete contrast, Ciutadella has a more Gothic feel to it. A labyrinth of tiny streets entwine the ‘little city’, most of which can only be accessed on foot.

Monte Toro stands proudly at the centre of the island, surveying all. To the south, a greener, lush terrain exists with long, luxurious beaches, while to the north, a giant rockery erupts riddled with caves and prehistoric finds.

Ibiza

Ibiza, bathed in sunlight and pulsing with vibrant energy, is a captivating island of approximately 221 square miles in size. The Eivissa-Sant Antoni road serves as the island's lifeline, connecting the lively town of Ibiza in the southeast to the more relaxed vibes of Sant Antoni in the northwest.

Ibiza Town (Eivissa)

Ibiza Town's iconic white-washed buildings and bustling streets will charm visitors from all corners of the globe. The historic Dalt Vila, a UNESCO World Heritage site, proudly overlooks the Mediterranean, with its ancient fortress walls and winding cobblestone paths. Stroll along the marina, lined with chic boutiques and restaurants, for a taste of the island's cosmopolitan side.

Sant Antoni de Portmany

In stark contrast, Sant Antoni exudes a different atmosphere. This town is famous for its breathtaking sunsets, which can be enjoyed from the iconic Sunset Strip. With its abundance of beachfront bars and open-air cafés, it's the ideal spot to unwind and savour the Mediterranean views. Beyond the town's boundaries, explore the unspoiled countryside and discover hidden coves and idyllic beaches, perfect for a day of relaxation and escape from the bustling crowds.

Santa Eulària des Riu

Nestled on the eastern coast of Ibiza, Santa Eulària des Riu offers a unique blend of traditional charm and modern elegance. This picturesque town is known for its serene beaches, such as Es Canar and Cala Llonga, where azure waters gently lap against the shore, making it an idyllic destination for relaxation and water activities.
