Situated on a gentle, south-facing slope that leads down to the water’s edge, Vier Jahreszeiten - Camping Biggesee blends in well with its wooded surroundings. The 200 touring pitches, all with electricity, are arranged in circles at the top part of the site and on a series of wide terraces lower down. They are grassy with some hardstandings.

While most of the campsite is occupied by permanent pitches, a charming section has been thoughtfully designed for touring.  There are 80 spacious and level pitches with 16Amp electric hook-up points available. Camping Hof Biggen is a well-established site in the heart of the Sauerland region, close to the city of Attendorn, just 4 km. away from the Biggesee. It is set amidst beautiful green countryside, and a large touring area at the top of the site offers a great view over woods, meadows and the Burg Schnellenberg castle. There are 350 pitches, 50 for tourers, all equipped with 16A electricity, in addition to 50 for tents on the slightly sloping ground. There are 25 caravans for hire. The site can become a suntrap in hot weather. This area of Sauerland is characterised by Lake Biggesee, where there are numerous opportunities for watersports and swimming. Nature lovers can enjoy the many walking routes through the Ebbe Mountains National Park, and days out include the medieval village of Attendorn (for shopping), the Atta Höhle Caves and the castle.

This delightful campsite offers spaciously arranged pitches on terraces set amongst lush greenery. All pitches are equipped with 220V/16 A electricity connection, and the long-term pitches have access to the community antenna/common aerial. You will also find a drain and service station for caravans and campervans, as well as well-grounded pitches for campervans.

Campingpark Münsterland Eichenhof is a spacious 13 ha. family run site of 350 pitches, of which 50 close to reception are for touring, all with electricity (16A), water and waste water, TV and WiFi connections. Some of the touring pitches have shade whilst others are more open. There is a large football field with an open area for tents adjacent, and a small animal enclosure. A well stocked shop and excellent restaurant with bar area can provide a relaxing end to a busy day swimming or paddle boating at the Feldmarksee lake which is connected to the campsite by a traffic free pathway. Mobile homes and caravans are available to rent.

Campingpark Sonnensee is located in Versmold, Germany, right on the edge of Lake Sonnensee. It is perfect for holidaymakers looking for various outdoor activities. On-site, there are 110 touring pitches with 16Amp electric hook-up points available. Pitches are spacious; some are hard-standing and separated by mature hedging, and some have direct views of the lake. The 275 privately owned permanent pitches are located separately from the touring pitches. 

Under Dutch ownership, this site has about 110 touring pitches, all with 16A electricity. Just outside the main gate, there are nine fully serviced hardstanding pitches with charcoal grill, designed with motorhomes in mind. Although the site is sloping, the pitches are 110-250 sq.m. on mainly level grassy areas with some shade.

Camping Gut Kalberschnacke is a large all year site in Drolshagen, North Rhine-Westphalia, located by a lake in which you can swim and go windsurfing. This large, open all year, terraced site has pitches with and without shade, 300 are permanent pitches. The site has a playground and a sports ground and offers various cycle routes. For those who want to relax after a busy day there is a sauna, solarium, steam bath and restaurant (with full menu) and a cosy terrace. The tent pitches have a view of the lake, but your car must be left in a car park. Easy bike ride along the lake. The cycle path starts directly at the bottom of the site. You are usually allowed to choose your own pitch, many of which have a beautiful view of the lake. The site has 125 touring pitches with 10-amp hook-up point and 6 caravans or hikers' cabins available to hire.

LBN-Duisburg is a naturist site and sports club founded in 1929 by a group of friends. Situated in 16 hectares of forest south of Duisburg, the touring pitches are on level ground next to the woods and all have electricity. Some caravans and log cabins to rent. On site the many good quality sports facilities are suitable for all members of the family. The clubhouse and terrace has hot and cold food and drinks, and many organised events as well as informal gatherings. Shopping is nearby in Duisburg 2 km.

Camping Berger has been a family site since 1931. It is located on the banks of the River Rhine in a quiet suburb of Cologne, only 7 km. from the city centre, which is easily reached on public transport or by the cycle path. Of the 250 pitches, 125 are reserved for touring units, all have 10A Europlug and are level on grass with tree shade in places. This is a friendly site with a comfortable restaurant, bar and beer garden, which together with the grassed and sandy areas bordering the Rhine, make it an ideal site to return to after a busy day visiting the city and other attractions in the area.

This is a first-class site on the outskirts of Münster. Of a total of 570 pitches, 120 are for touring units, each with electricity, water, drainage, and TV sockets. The pitches are level, most with partial hardstanding, and others are separated into groups by mature hedges and trees providing shade.

Heimbacher Campingplatz is located in Heimbach. An idyllic little town nestled along the Rur Valley in the Eifel hills. Campers come and stay here for a quiet relaxing holiday. On-site, you will find a little restaurant serving traditional local cuisine, a games room, a football pitch and a children's playground for the younger campers. As the campsite runs along the river, you can kayak and fish direct from the site.

This campsite with 570 pitches (150 for tourers) is centred around an artificial lake which has a gently sloping sandy beach and is surrounded by a mass of tall pine trees. Under the pine trees there is room for 120 touring pitches, all with electricity (16A, long leads required) and TV connections, 27 also with water, cable and waste water. In this area campers can park at will, on open, sandy, grass-covered ground. From most touring pitches there are good views over the lake, and campers will enjoy the welcoming bar/restaurant with its covered terrace.

Set on the banks of the Biggesee this site has a pleasant outlook across the water and up to the dam. The area is forested and the views from the pitches on the top half of the site are remarkable. The 30 touring pitches on well kept grass are large enough to take a long unit and all have 10A electricity (Europlug). Water taps are well spaced and not far from any of the pitches. The comfort pitches with full services are for seasonal use only. There is an adventure play area for children and there are opportunities for canoeing and fishing in the adjacent water. This is a lovely site where families and couples can enjoy a relaxing break ‘away from it all’.

Campingplatz Hetzingen is a campsite situated right by the Eifel National Park in Nideggen, Germany. It boasts a scenic location directly on the Rur river with clear water, with the historic Nideggen Castle standing tall on the opposite bank. The Rursee Lake is also just a few kilometres away. on-site, there are 100 touring pitches with 10Amp electric hook-up points available. Pitches are separated by mature hedging, giving privacy to each pitch. There are also 300 privately owned pitches on site, but they are separated away from the touring pitches.  

Camping Frings-Mühle site is in the beautiful Ahr valley between Blankenheim and the Nürburgring and is open all year round. A warm-hearted family runs this simple site surrounded by a beautiful forest In the German state of North Rhine-Westphalia. The site is named after a water mill, which was built in 1818. The entire site is surrounded by the Ahr but can also be easily reached via a bridge. The pitches have electricity, water and drainage connections. On site you will find a country inn, supermarket and camping products shop. In the small supermarket you will find almost everything you might need. Bread, rolls, pastries and cakes are available on request. People who use the Ahr hiking or cycling path stop by as the site is located directly on the bike or hiking trail. The nearby national park is always worth a visit. Even in winter, the upper Ahr valley with its many excursion possibilities is always worth a visit. Especially the Nürburgring (13 km) with countless attractions is a must. Visitors really love the schnitzels served in the restaurant. If you are having breakfast at the restaurant in the morning you can order them in advance. The site has 48 touring pitches, 75 seasonal pitches with 16-amp hook-up point and 11 apartments or rooms available to hire.
