The Hop Farm Campsite
Set in 500 acres of the Garden of England, The Hop Farm Touring & Camping Park is the venue for many special events throughout the summer, including music festivals & shows. To one side, overlooking all this activity and the attractive cluster of oasts, is the touring park, which provides 150 pitches, of which 75 are hardstanding on flat, open fields. Electricity (16A) and water are available.

Marlie Holiday Park
Marlie Holiday Park is in a countryside setting in the southeast corner of Kent, with a golf course situated between Marlie and the nearest beach. The entertainment venue room has a separate bar and restaurant so you can dance or dine in perfect surroundings whatever you choose (cash only). There is a brand new indoor pool and a safe adventure play area for children. Marlie is also a great place for nature lovers. Adjacent to the park is a Site of Special Scientific Interest and Marlie is also home to a large colony of rabbits. The touring pitches are level, grassy and unmarked. There is a large number of mobile homes to rent or purchase.
Tanner Farm Park
Tanner Farm is a quality park, surrounded by arable farmland and orchards, oast houses, lovely countryside and delightful small villages in the beautiful Weald of Kent. The park extends over 15 acres, most of which is level and part is a gentle slope. The grass meadowland has been semi-landscaped by planting saplings, which units back onto, as the owners do not wish to regiment pitches into rows.
Daleacres Caravan and Motorhome Club Site
Daleacres Caravan and Motorhome Club site is very family and pet friendly and provides a football pitch for a quick kick around and a dog walking trail to keep the pooches healthy. The site is extremely spacious considering there are 143 pitches including 12 for tents and 9 clamping pods. The views from the entrance of the site are stunning. There really is a lot of space on site and BBQ areas available if you have not brought one of your own. The site is pretty much a stone's throw away from everything the area has to offer, including Port Lympne Zoo and Safari Park, a great day out for all the family. If you are looking for a location that has it all you will be hard pressed to top this one; you could spend some time at the medieval Dover Castle, which is around a 30 minute drive along the coast and lose yourself in all the rich history dating back to the Roman occupation and the Romney Hythe & Dymchurch railway is a must.
Bearsted Caravan and Motorhome Club Site
Elegantly sloping towards open farmland, Bearsted Caravan and Motorhome Club site offers the tranquillity of these open fields, one of which is a horse paddock where equine enthusiasts can enjoy the proximity of these beautiful creatures. Bearsted site is conveniently located to explore the beautiful countryside of Kent, often termed The Garden of England for its lovely appeal. The site has 66pitches. 40 hardstanding of which 8 are serviced and 26 grass pitches all with electricity 16amp.
Seaview Holiday Park
Seaview is a member of the Park Holidays group and can be found at Swalecliffe close to England’s oyster capital, Whitstable. The site is close to the beach with some great views and direct access to the coastal footpath. Amenities are centred on the recently refurbished clubhouse and entertainment complex. A new lido-style swimming pool has been added. Pitches here are generally grassy and of a good size, most with electricity connections. This is a lively site in peak season with regular evening entertainment and a children’s club (5-14 years).
Birchington Vale Holiday Park
Birchington is a growing village in a rural setting, a short distance from the coast, with its choice of several fine beaches. Margate and other coastal towns are close by. The site is well laid out with pleasant flower beds. A large section is devoted to mobile homes, with two further large areas housing the touring pitches. They have little shade, but all are large, level, numbered and easily accessed. Previously known as Two Chimneys, this is a quiet site in low season but becomes very lively during the peak period. Occasional rallies and exhibitions are held.
Black Horse Farm Caravan and Motorhome Club Site
Whether you are coming, going or staying, you should try this neat, tidy and attractive six-acre park, owned by The Caravan and Motorhome Club. It is situated amidst farming country in the village of Densole on the Downs, just four miles north of Folkestone, eight west of Dover and eleven south of Canterbury. Accessed directly from the A260, the tarmac entrance road leads past reception towards the top field which has gravel hardstanding pitches with a grass area for awnings (there is some road noise from the A260), past hedging to the smaller middle area, then to the large bottom field which has been redeveloped to give some larger pitches (including 15 for tents) and some to accommodate larger motorhomes. There are 119 pitches in total, 95 with hardstanding, all with 16 amp electricity and 10 fully serviced.
New Beach Holiday Park
New Beach is a popular family holiday park located between Hythe and Dymchurch on Kent’s south coast. This is a lively site in high season with a varied entertainment programme. Evening entertainment is of a high standard and is organised on a nightly basis in peak season. Leisure facilities include a heated, indoor swimming pool, an adventure playground and an amusement arcade. There is a dining area and takeaway food facility. The park’s primary interest is its caravan holiday home fleet, but a touring field to one side of the park accommodates 70 units with 32 electric hookups.
Sandwich Leisure Park
A pleasant well kept site with modern facilities, this park is in one of England’s historic old Cinque Ports and within walking distance of all its attractions, shops and services. From the entrance barrier by reception, you drive through an area of caravan holiday homes (to rent and privately owned) to reach the two touring fields, which have 193 pitches, all on grass with 10A electric hook-ups. There are 81 multi-service pitches with electricity, TV, water and drain, nine of which have hardstanding. A railway runs along one side of the site and there is a little rail noise at times during the day, but it is quiet at night.
Plough Leisure Caravan Park
Plough Leisure Caravan Park is on the isle of Sheppey in North East Kent. The completion of the new fixed crossing makes the island very accessible from the M20 and M2 motorways. Plough Park is situated on the outskirts of Minster with its ancient Minster Abbey and gate house museum. The site has 100 grass pitches most with electric hook-up point. There are also Mobile homes for sale or rent.
Gatehouse Wood Country Park
This sheltered park has been created in a former quarry where all the pitches are on well drained grass. A spacious paved entrance with an attractive reception building and well stocked shop leads on to the park itself. The 54 pitches are level and open with a few small trees, two brick built barbecue units and 36 electricity hook-ups (10A). A playground has swings, a seesaw and a slide, all set on a safety base, and the entire site is enclosed by grassy banks on three sides with a wild flower walk around the top.
Canterbury Camping & Caravanning Club Site
Canterbury Camping & Caravanning Club site is situated just off the A257 Sandwich road, about 1.5 miles from the centre of Canterbury and easily accessible by foot, bike or bus. This site is a good base for exploring Canterbury's history and heritage with its wonderful cathedral and the ruins of St Augustine’s Abbey. It also has an eclectic mix of specialist shops, independent retailers, bars and restaurants. The site's location also makes it a good stopover for the Dover ferries and the Folkestone Channel Tunnel terminal. A good sized overnight area for late arrivals can be reached even when the barriers are down. Although the busy A257 is close, there is minimal noise from the traffic. Note: power lines cross the site. There are 180 pitches (some seasonal), 120 with 16A electric hook-ups - some sloping so blocks are advised. Most of the pitches are on well kept grass with hundreds of saplings planted but there are also 65 pitches with hardstanding. The site also has 6 safari tents for hire.
Roundoak Farm Camping
Round Oak Farm is a smaller, CL-style campsite on a working farm that focuses mainly on rare breed sheep and cows. Located in the heart of the Kentish countryside, south of the county town of Maidstone. The grassland farm consists of 180 acres, including 5 acres of a natural oak woodland walk and 9 acres of walking routes open to guests. Dogs are allowed on site but must be kept on a lead at all times.
Thriftwood Holiday Park
Thriftwood Holiday Park is a well located base for exploring Kent and has good access to a major motorway network. London can be reached in around 50 minutes from Borough Green station (two miles). There is an attractive touring area here with a good number of hardstandings available and grassy tent pitches around the edge. Some pitches may require the use of levelling blocks. Around 150 pitches have electrical connections. The toilet block has recently been refurbished to a very high standard. Amenities include a swimming pool and a convivial bar/club house where meals may be ordered. There is some entertainment, mainly in high season.
Quex Caravan Park
Although there is a large number of privately owned holiday homes at Quex, they do not intrude on the touring area which is in a sheltered glade under tall trees. Here, there are 40 shady touring pitches all with 10A electricity. This park accepts trailer tents but not other tent campers. This is an attractive and well maintained park. As with the other parks in the Keat Farm group, there is a strong commitment to conservation here. ‘Bugingham Palace’ and other such insect houses are a fascinating feature on the park. Local attractions include Quex House and gardens and, of course, the popular seaside resorts of Margate, Ramsgate and Broadstairs.
Folkestone Camping & Caravanning Club Site
Folkestone Camping & Caravanning Club site is ideally located whether you are holidaying in Kent or taking a day trip to France by Channel Tunnel. The site enjoys a dramatic cliff-top position with views of the sea and the Dover-Folkestone coast's chalky cliffs. Walkers and dog owners will enjoy the walks from the site along the cliffs and beach. You can also walk into Folkestone and Dover using the footpath from the site. Due to the sites location the site does not accept touring caravans. The site is unsuitable if you need to leave for an early ferry, as the site gate does not open until 7 a.m., and there is no overnight parking. The site has 60 grass or hardstanding pitches, most with an electric hook-up point.
Oldbury Hill Camping & Caravanning Club Site
Oldbury Hill Camping & Caravanning Club Site is in an idyllic spot within Styants Wood, opposite the Iron Age fort of the same name in a Kent Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The area is also a Site of Special Scientific Interest. The area is ideal for walkers. Two way-marked circular walks pass over Oldbury Camp, the large Iron Age hill fort. The hill is now covered with woodland managed by the National Trust. You can also walk from the site to Ightham Mote, a medieval moated manor house with a 14-acre garden and restaurant. It is a short car journey to Knole, a National Trust run English country house set in a deer park; Penshurst Palace and Gardens; the National Trust run Chartwell, the family home of Winston Churchill; the beautiful Emmetts Garden and Hever Castle and Gardens. You can also visit London by train from Borough Green and Sevenoaks stations. The site has 65 grass pitches, some with electric hook-up.
Still Acres Touring and Camping Park
Still Acres is an adult only family-run site set in 28 acres of space alongside immaculate facilities. It prides itself on offering pitches that are not only level but also exceptionally spacious, ensuring that every guest enjoys a comfortable stay. All 30 pitches feature grass surfaces and are equipped with 16-Amp electric hook-ups, accommodating both tents and touring caravans with ease. Each pitch measures an impressive 10 metres by 14 metres and is reinforced with mesh in the parking areas, making them suitable for vehicles up to seven tonnes in weight. The highlight for pet owners is a 2-acre fenced-off exercise area where dogs can run off-lead safely. While there is no site-wide Wi-Fi, there is an EE mast 300 meters away, providing strong 5G signal for those using mobile hotspots.
