Camping Village Baia Verde
Italy, Lake Garda, Manerba del Garda
Alan Rogers Review
Baia Verde is a smart, well equipped and peaceful campsite located in the attractive village of Manerba on the southwestern corner of Lake Garda, backed by the Valtenesi hills. The site leads down towards the lake and overlooks the large sandy expanse of beach which makes this such an appealing campsite for families with young children.
The 145 touring pitches are in regular rows on flat, open ground with young trees giving some shade. They are all fully serviced (16A electricity) and 12 have superb private facilities. The remaining 46 pitches are used for mobile homes to rent and there are apartments available too. The excellent restaurant block and the building housing the other facilities were both designed by an architect and it shows the attention to detail and loving care has gone into Baia Verde. This is an excellent, well run campsite in an enviable location that ensures plenty of repeat visitors.
Swimming and paddling pools and the rooftop spa with its great views are attractively designed and incorporate a wellness centre and elevated TV room. Nearby is a play area and sports pitches. All facilities are open all season and are of a top standard. The lake is just two minutes’ walk away and the theme parks are nearby.
Full range of high quality sanitary facilities in an impressive three storey building in the style of an Italian villa. Rooms for babies and children. Superb facilities for disabled visitors. Washing machines and dryers. TV lounge. Rooftop sunbathing area with jacuzzi. Entertainment and activity programme (high season). WiFi over site (charged). Only some breeds of dog accepted.
LocationManerba is on western shore of Lake Garda at the southern end. From A4 Milan-Venice autostrada take Desenzano exit and head north on SS572 towards Salò for 12 km; then turn right following signs to site. Link to campsite location map on google
