Saint-Disdille is situated 300 m. from the beautiful Lake Geneva and the famous spa towns of Thonon-les-Bains, which can be reached on a bus that passes the site, and Evian-les-Bains. There are 297 large, level touring pitches on stone and rough grass (rock pegs are essential). Large trees give some shade. Those reserved for touring have 10A electricity and are scattered amongst mobile homes and permanent weekender caravans and can be some distance from the facilities situated by the entrance. The site is ideally placed for the large range of watersports in the area, and Switzerland is easily accessible by car, bus, train or boat.

This site will be lively in the high season, due to the large number of long-stay units, and the on-site and adjacent discos finish after midnight. The bypass around Thonon makes for easy.

Five adequate toilet blocks with accessible facilities. Shop. Bar with TV, restaurant and takeaway (all 1/4-30/9). Diving and rafting clubs. Play area with bouncy castle. Multisports court. Boules. Games room with pool table. Tennis court. Beach volleyball. Bicycle hire. Internet and WiFi (free in reception).

Location

From Annemasse take N5 to Thonon-les-Bains. In Thonon follow signs for Evian to Intermarché supermarket. At next roundabout follow signs to campsite and Parc de la Chataigneraie.
