Camping Village Mare is 18 km. Northwest of Trieste, at the top of an 80-metre cliff, and has superb views over the Sistiana Bay. The campsite is situated in a peaceful spot amongst trees that line the coastline and offers stunning views of the Adriatic Sea. Of the 500 pitches, 340 are reserved for touring units, all with 4/6A electricity and water nearby. Some are in light woodland. Everyone is friendly, and English is spoken.

The campsite has a wide range of facilities and amenities to keep guests entertained and relaxed during their stay. There is a large swimming pool complex with a separate children's pool, a playground, and a mini market. The campsite also offers a variety of activities and entertainment programs, including live music, karaoke, and bingo. Enjoy a drink or food at the campsite cliff-top restaurant, which overlooks the pool complex and has fabulous bay views.

A pebbly beach protected by a jetty can be reached using a regular road train (every 40 minutes from 09.00-19.00). New mobile homes have been added and all have air conditioning. Space is nearly always available (1-15 August is the busiest). For arrivals outside office hours, a waiting area has water and toilet facilities. The site is used by tour operators.

Camping Village Mare Pineta is a great base for exploring the Friuli-Venezia Giulia region of Italy. The campsite is close to a number of popular tourist destinations, including the city of Trieste, the Miramare Castle, and the Rilke Path.

Five toilet blocks have been thoughtfully refurbished (two with solar panels for hot water) and offer some washbasins in cabins. WCs are of both British and squat style. Accessible facilities. Laundry. Motorhome services. Shop (all season). Bars. Pizzeria with terrace. Entertainment and disco. Swimming pool (1/5-20/9). Fitness studio. New playground. Tennis. Multi sport pitch, Bicycle hire. Fishing. Organised entertainment in season. WiFi (charged). Information point. Dogs permitted in certain areas only and not allowed on the beach.

Directions to Camping Mare Pineta

From the west on the A4 take Sistiana exit and turn right on S14 towards Sistiana and then Duino. Site is 1 km. on the left past Sistiana. From the east approach on the S14. Site is well signed.
