Camping As Nevedas is a family-run site 15 minutes drive from Carballo. Here you will find beaches in one direction and mountains in the other. Naturally, this sort of location means easy access to all manner of outdoor activities, whether you fancy taking your bike out on forest trails, hiking along coast paths, going horse riding (in the woods or on the beach), trying your luck with your fishing rods or donning scuba tanks to go out diving. If you’re not familiar with this area, by the way, don’t let the name ‘Costa da Morte’ put you off. It gained its deathly name from the number of shipwrecks that happened along its rocky length in the past, but it’s perfectly welcoming to visitors.
Being so close to the coast, there’s a good supply of seafood in the area, and visitors can sample it easily enough at the on-site restaurant, where you’re also welcome to settle in for a cool drink at the bar. There is also an outdoor swimming pool, toddlers pool and children's play area. The site has 66 pitches, of which 61 are for touring units and have a 10-amp hook-up point. All pitches are grass and separated by hedges to give a more intimate feeling to your stay. There are also four wooden bungalows available to hire. As this is a rural spot well removed from urban areas, you can expect fabulous stargazing on clear nights.

Directions to Camping As Nevedas
From the AG-55 At junction 22 at the island on the slip road take the 2nd exit onto Telleira Abaixo. This then becomes Raxido. At the roundabout, take the 1st exit and stay on Raxido. Next turn left onto DP-1913. Turn right onto DP-1909. Keep left to stay on DP-1909. Finally, turn left and the site is on this road.
