This excellent lakeside site is near the city of Langres. Only twenty minutes from the A5/A31 junction, Camping de la Liez provides an ideal spot for an overnight/provisioning stop en route to the south of France. However, there is also a lot on offer for a longer stay.

The site provides 192 fully serviced pitches, including 16 with private sanitary units. Attractive terracing on the site's lower part means that some have views of the 250-hectare lake with its sandy beach and small harbour where boats and pedalos may be hired. Perfect for water sports, access to the lake is down steps and across quite a fast road.

It is possible to cycle or even walk the 16 km. circuit around the lake. As well as all the activities on the lake, sporting provision on site includes a tennis court, volleyball, boules, archery and bicycle hire. There are pony rides in high season. The city of Langres with its old ramparts and ancient city centre is within easy reach – it was elected one of the 50 most beautiful towns in France – and it is well worth a visit. There are markets in Langres and many of the nearby towns and villages. There are also several Supermarkets within the area of Langres The surrounding countryside has much to offer walkers and cyclists and motorists will find plenty of scenic drives in the Marne Valley.

Facilities at Camping de la Liez

Two older heated toilet blocks (closed in low season) have all facilities, including washbasins in cabins, controllable showers and facilities for babies, Accessible facilities to Reception, Shop, Restaurant, Terrace and Swimming Pools has been greatly improved with the installation of several ramps and new paths. A more recent block (open all season) also has eight en-suite units along with 16 pitches with private sanitary facilities. Laundry facilities. Motorhome services. Shop, (The shop is well stocked with basics and is often manned from the adjoining Reception.) Daily bread delivery service, Bar and restaurant with takeaway. Indoor pool with spa and sauna. Heated outdoor pool with slide. Both pools are unsupervised but are Access controlled. Games room. Kids club, Bouncy castle, Pony rides, Entertainment, Themed dinners.  Playground. Extensive games area. Table tennis, Tennis. Archery, WiFi throughout (charged). Chalets, Safari Tents and Gipsy Wagons for rent.

Directions to Camping de la Liez

From A5/A31 motorways follow signs for Langres. From Langres via N19 towards Vesoul. After 3 km. turn right, straight after the large river bridge, then follow site signs. Also signed from D74 (Neufchâteau).
