Camping Bal is a natural site on 4.5-hectare grounds and adjacent to Hotel Bal. The site is within easy reach of the A26 (7 km). This is an excellent overnight stop and very convenient for Calais. There are 14 pitches with hardstanding for touring units, 12 in one area separated by grass. A few additional grass pitches are scattered around the site. Electricity is available. Visitors may dine in the attractive restaurant and bar at the adjacent hotel, where free WiFi is provided.

The local village is within walking distance and offers a bakery, pharmacy and more. There are lovely views across the wooded valley from the top of the site: the site and the adjacent hotel offer very good value for overnight stops.

Facilities at Camping Bal

In low season, there are minimal facilities for the touring pitches (a single toilet, shower and washbasin). The main sanitary block is open for July/Aug. Accessible facilities, Small play area. Tennis court. Boules. Games room (July/Aug). Hotel bar and restaurant (from 18.00 all year). WiFi in the hotel (free).

Site and hotel are well signed in Tournehem. N.B. watch out for bridge (3.1 m. high, 2.4 m. wide). An alternative route is available.
