Yelloh! Village la Petite Camargue sets a high standard and is a well-organised site with much to offer. The fascinating Camargue on its doorstep, the medieval walled city of Aigues Mortes and the Mediterranean beaches close by make it an ideal holiday centre.

A large site (532 pitches) on 40 hectares, it has a swimming pool complex and other sporting amenities, including a riding school. There are 128 good-sized touring pitches (6/10A electricity) on level, sandy grass in shady avenues with colourful, flowering shrubs. They are interspersed among more than 300 mobile homes and several tour operator pitches.

The main activity area, situated between the pitches and the road (well screened), has been attractively designed around a Mediterranean theme and provides a wide range of facilities, including an impressive pool area, restaurant and shops, almost like a village centre. It also provides a range of on-site entertainment with a good activity programme for all ages. Riding stables are located by the entrance. Do ask about the ‘Ferrade’ days held fortnightly to learn about the Camarguaise horses etc. English is spoken and the staff are very helpful. Visit the nearby salt marshes where a train will take you on a one-and-a-half hour trip with a stopover to visit the Salt Museum, or enjoy extensive views on a tour of the ramparts at Aigues Mortes.

From A9, exit 26 (Gallargues), towards Le Grau-du-Roi, site 18 km. Continue past Aigues-Mortes on D62, site is 2 km. on the right, just before large roundabout for La Grand-Motte and Le Grau-du-Roi junction.
