The 1,200-acre Strathclyde Country Park is a large green area less than 15 miles from the centre of Glasgow. This Caravan and Motorhome Club site features 107 all-weather, large, flat hardstanding pitches (some seasonal) all with 16 amp electricity. There are 12 serviced pitches. Space for 45 tents (seasonal), all off tarmac roads. The warden’s accommodation and toilet blocks are attractively clad in wood to blend in with their surroundings. This site is suitable as a stopover or for a longer holiday (max. 21 days) and it is ideal as a base for visiting the numerous attractions in and around Glasgow. As the site is close to the motorway, there may be some traffic noise.
