Spain is a favourite amongst European tourists, especially in the summer months, thanks to excellent temperatures and stunning beaches on offer. In fact, even over the winter Spain remains a popular destination for holidaymakers and it’s common for people to travel over the Christmas and New Year period too.

It’s the fourth largest European country and as such, Spain offers much for all the family. No matter the type of camping holiday you’re on the lookout for, you’re sure to find it in this country. To help with your decision, Alan Rogers has inspected and selected the best campsites near the beach in Spain. There are over 200 to pick from as well, so you’re spoilt for choice.

If you’re a sun lover, the south coast of Spain is particularly appealing. Malaga is a very popular location, with some fantastic tourist attractions in this region. Meanwhile, on the eastern there are the major cities of Valencia and Barcelona. In the north of Spain, not only are you close to the beach, but also beautiful scenery and the mountainous Pyrenees district.

Spain offers a number of amazing beaches to explore, including Cantabria, Costa Brava, Majorca and Costa del Sol. These idyllic locations will offer the usual watersport activities you’d expect, whilst also being close to major urban areas with diverse culture on offer.

What’s more, you can filter the camping options on the left-hand-side in order to find the perfect destination. You’ll quickly be able to narrow your options, selecting campsites that have the facilities you want or include the activities you love to take part in. From bicycle hire and fishing, to golf or even sailing, you’ll find the ideal campsite on the Spanish coastline.

So why delay? You can simply start looking through the recommended campsites below to find out more information. If you like what you see, you’ll be able to book up your next trip today and have a brilliant holiday to start looking forward to.
