Rushin House Caravan Park
Although situated in Northern Ireland, this park opened in 2007 and is almost on the border with the Republic of Ireland. It has been carefully landscaped from farmland that sloped down to the tranquil Lough MacNean. There are 38 fully serviced, terraced pitches on hardstanding. They form a friendly circle surrounding a fairy thorn tree and have an added bonus of a wonderful view of the loch. There is also a small camping area. The toilet block, boat jetty, picnic tables and play areas are only a short walk away from the pitches.
Mullynascarthy Caravan Park
This is a well kept touring site with 43 pitches, situated on the banks of the Colebrooke River. It has instant appeal, for the setting at Mullynascarthy is more like a mature garden. The pitches to the right of reception, which are grass on hardstanding, are interspersed with flowering shrubs and partly hedged. To the left of the facility block additional pitches are spread over meadow-like terrain and all have electric hook-ups. Sanitary facilities, although not ultra modern, are kept clean and housed alongside reception, which doubles up as a sub-post office and small shop.
