Camping de la Vée
Camping de la Vée is a pleasant municipal site in the town of Bagnoles de l’Orne, and is open for a long season (March to November). The 246 pitches (228 for touring) are large and grassy and are grouped around the two well-maintained toilet blocks. All have 10A electricity. Some 51 hardstandings are available for motorhome users. On-site amenities include a snack bar with special meal offers in peak season, a play area and free WiFi. Several fully equipped mobile homes are available to rent.
Camping le Marqueval
Le Marqueval is a well established, lively, family site of 284 pitches (including 60 mobile homes), located close to the seaside town of Hautot-sur-Mer, just west of Dieppe and 1.2 km from the sea. This peaceful site has been developed around three small lakes (one unfenced, suitable for fishing) where you'll find plenty of greenery. It's an ideal starting point for those who wish to discover the Cote d'Albatre, go hiking on the GR21 or explore the rich heritage of the Seine-Maritime area of Normandy. When on-site, you'll find plenty of activities to keep you entertained, including an outdoor water park comprising of two pools and a square metre paddling pool with a mushroom fountain and water spouts. During the season, the site organises karaoke sessions, boule competitions, fishing as well as evening meals and dance evenings.
Camping le Saint Efflam
Camping Municipal de Saint-Efflam is in a unique location in the heart of the beautiful bay of Lieue de Grève situated between Saint-Efflam and the small town of Saint-Michel-en-Greve. The site is just 150 metres from the beach, a major landing site for American equipment during the Second World War, it also hosts famous horse races annually. Whether you stay in a mobile home, tent, motorhome or caravan you are at the right place for visiting the Côte de Granit Rose or, the beautiful landscapes of Arrée in Central Britainy. All shops are 2.5 km away. Spread over 4 hectares the site has 180 grass/hardstanding pitches from 80 to 100 m2 150 are for touring units and most have an electric hook-up point, there are also 20 mobile homes, chalets and safari tents available to hire. A Nautical Centre is close by for those who are interested in sand yachting, kayaking, catamaran, paddle boarding etc. For walkers the GR 34, a trail along the Breton coast, is an excellent way to see the natural sites along the coastal path.
Camping des Gayeulles
Camping des Gayeulles is an open all year site situated on the northern edge of Rennes Ille-et-Vilaine. The site is in a forest park with a small lake, paddleboats, treetop adventure park, hiking tracks, miniature golf, a bar/brewery and a health club. A municipal swimming pool is also a short walk away. Rambles around the old streets of the town and Place Sainte-Anne will allow you to buy fresh produce at the market, potter around the Museum of Brittany and sampling cider and galettes. Rennes is under 10 minutes away by car, 25 minutes by bus, about 20 minutes by bike along the Ille-et-Rance canal. The site’s location means you should get out and about around Brittany while here too. Options, include Saint-Malo and Cancale under an hour’s drive towards the north coast, Fougères 35 minutes to the southeast and Vitré 40 minutes east. And quite a few smaller towns and teeny villages for more sampling of Breton culture. The site has 117 touring pitches with 16-amp hook-up point and 18 Lodges available to hire.

Coniston Park Coppice Caravan and Motorhome Club Site
Coniston Park Coppice Caravan and Motorhome Culb site is set a stone’s throw away from Coniston Water this site is ideally placed for exploring the Lake District National Park. Imaginatively landscaped, the site is set in 63 acres of beautiful National Trust woodland. With pitches grouped in open glades and easy access to the fun attractions of Coniston Water, the site offers a scenic, peaceful base for an active holiday that will keep the whole family happy. The site accommodates its own mini adventure playground for children and additional activities within the area include cycling, rock climbing, guided pony treks around the fells and much more. The sloping pitches often require the use of levelling ramps & chocks. The village of Coniston is just under 2 miles away and can be reached along the old railway line located behind the nearby Ship Inn. Buses to the tourist honey-pots of Ambleside and Windermere can be caught at the site entrance. In the high season Fish & Chips & Pizza are available on site on selected nights.
Wild Rose Park
Set in the Eden Valley within easy reach of the Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales, Wild Rose is a well known park. The entrance is inviting with its well mown grass, trim borders and colourful flower displays. It is immediately apparent that this is a much loved park, and this is reflected throughout the site in the care and attention to detail. There are 135 touring pitches all with electricity, however 105 also provide water and waste water, plus the site boasts on-site wardens to ensure that everything is always neat and tidy. Wild Rose deserves its excellent reputation, which the owners strive to maintain and improve. There are five distinct areas on the park providing a variety of pitches and services.
The Quiet Site Caravan & Camping Park
The Quiet Site is a secluded, family run park operating as a carbon neutral company. It is situated on a hillside in the Lake District National Park, with views over the fells, just 1.5 miles from Lake Ullswater. There are 100 unmarked touring pitches, most with hardstanding and all with electricity. They have been terraced to provide level surfaces. The camping area is undulating. In a separate part of the park screened by mature trees, there are 23 privately owned caravan holiday homes. There are two cottages to rent and recent additions are 14 timber built camping pods, pre-erected bell tents and a ‘Hobbit Hole’.

Lisebergsbyn Karralund
Well positioned for visiting the city and theme park using the excellent tram system, this busy, well maintained site has 164 marked pitches. All have electricity (10A) and cable TV and there are several areas for tents. Pitches vary in size, 42 are hardstandings, some are fairly compact with no dividing hedges, and consequently units can be rather close together. Additionally there are cabins to rent, bed and breakfast facilities and a youth hostel. It can be a very busy site in the main season, which in this case means June, July and August. An advance telephone call to check for space is advisable.
Borås Camping Saltemad
Borås Camping is in a park setting 2 km. north of the city centre. This pleasant municipal site is within easy walking distance of Djurpark Zoo and a shopping centre, and is convenient for ferries to and from Göteborg. A tidy, well managed site, it provides 400 large, numbered, level pitches, carefully arranged in rows off good tarmac perimeter roads, on well kept grass with some trees for shade. Electricity (10A) is provided to 300 pitches. Many activities are available, both on site and nearby, such as the excellent Alidebergsbadet outdoor heated pool complex, only 400 m. away and free to campers. A good foot/cycle path leads from the site to the beautiful Lake Öresjö.

Camping Albufeira
Here's a charming, well-run site, close to bustling Faro and with a bus service to the resort of Albufeira from the gate. There's space for 1400 touring units on generally flat ground with some terracing on the upper area and trees and shrubs giving reasonable shade in most parts. Pitches are not marked or numbered; you can take as much space as you wish. Electrical connections (10A) are available throughout. Winter stays are encouraged, including a pool and the main facilities remaining open.
