This is a good value, family run campsite which is predominately dedicated to touring caravans and campers. The owners live on-site so there is a 24 hour presence. Access is excellent and should present no problems. There are 170 large pitches, on grass, spread out among the trees. All basic requirements are provided for and facilities are modern and well maintained. For the active, there is a boules area and a volleyball court, and for children, a fenced play area. The site is attractively situated in the countryside on the edge of a large forest, within easy reach of the beaches at La Palmyre and the unspoilt coastline of the Forêt de la Coubre.

Close to the site, but not too close, is the huge la Palmyre Luna Park with its exciting rides, shows and evening spectaculars, and a few minutes away is la Palmyre Zoo, the second largest in France. The magical Ile de Ré can be reached within minutes across the toll-free bridge. A good supermarket is just down the road in Les Mathes.

From Royan take D25 towards La Palmyre. At large roundabout on outskirts take D141 towards Les Mathes. At next roundabout take D268 towards La Tremblade. Site is 1 km. after the large Luna Park complex on the right.
