Alan Rogers Review of Camping Sandaya Val André
Camping Val André, previously known as Les Monts Colleux, is a campsite with an unusual town centre location in Le Val André. The site, however, has a hilltop setting and some pitches have fine views of the sea. This was formerly a municipal site and is well-managed with well-kept hedges and pitches. The reception area and shop are modern, although the sanitary blocks are older. The 55 pitches (most with 10A electricity) are generally flat, although, given its hillside location, some are sloping. Although there is no swimming pool on site, there is a large covered municipal pool adjacent, with limited free access for campers.
Around 100 pitches are occupied by mobile homes, chalets and fully equipped bungalow tents (available to rent). The nearest beach is close – just 300 m, and boats can be launched nearby.
An attractive golf course is 1 km. distant. Le Val André is an attractive resort and the town centre is just 300 m. from the site via a steep hill. There are many activities here during the high season, including weekly free jazz concerts.

Two toilet blocks, one with special facilities for children, the other also includes accessible facilities. Motorhome services. Shop, snack bar and takeaway meals (all high season). Games/TV room. Play area. Bouncy castle. Bicycle hire. Activity and entertainment programme. Communal barbecue. Mobile homes and chalets to rent.

Approaching from the east (St Malo and Dinard) on the D786, bypass Erquy and continue to Pléneuf-Val-André and then to Le Val-André. Follow signs to Piscine Municipale – the site is adjacent.
