This is a peaceful, rural site close to the Normandy coast and the pretty harbour town of Honfleur, where you are assured of a friendly welcome from the new resident owners. There are around 130 pitches, 82 for tourers, all with 4/8/13A electricity. Some have shade, while others are more open. There are 30 mobile homes and a thatched cottage to rent. An open field houses tents and other units not requiring electricity. Well fenced streams, popular with young anglers, run through the site. Improvements have not compromised the French atmosphere, and this is an ideal base for exploring this part of Normandy.
The pretty harbour town of Honfleur is within very easy reach, whilst those seeking city life and huge hypermarkets can head for Le Havre across the spectacular Pont de Normandie. Beyond Honfleur you’ll find the fashionable resorts of Deauville and Trouville, and then more beaches at Villers-sur-Mer and Houlgate. The nearby Vallée de la Risle is well worth a visit and further afield the Forêt de Brotonne offers peace and quiet. Up the coast beyond Le Havre is Etretat with its beautiful cliff formations and the possibility of spectacular sunsets. Inland, Pont l’Evêque is an interesting little town famous for its cheese, and further south is Lisieux and its impressive basilica dedicated to Sainte Thérèse.
