Alan Rogers Review
Romagna Family Village is a busy holiday site on the Adriatic coast with direct access to the beach via a short underpass below the promenade. The beach is wide with fine sand sloping gently into the sea. The friendly owners of Romagna Family Village have designed it with campers in the centre and sports facilities plus entertainment to the rear. The bar, restaurant and reception are at the front. This ensures that campers have the pitches with least road and rail noise. The 100 level, grass pitches are small and well shaded with tarmac access roads and regular water points.
Although the four toilet blocks are fairly old, they are brightly decorated and spotlessly clean. The supermarket is well stocked with fresh foods and the restaurant offers a wide choice of dishes at very reasonable prices. A nice touch are the free air pressure hoses to inflate beach toys and air beds. If you would like to be close to the sea and enjoy the vibrant atmosphere of the Adriatic Riviera where the Italians love to holiday, this lively, family-style campsite has a lot to offer. Previously known as Camping Alberello.
Three traditional toilet blocks are brightly painted and kept very clean. British and Turkish style WCs. Facilities for disabled visitors. Washing machines. Bazaar. Supermarket. Bar, large restaurant with terrace. Pizzeria. TV room. Very large play area. Limited entertainment programme in season. Miniclub. Watersports. ATM. Free WiFi over site. Dogs are not accepted. Torches useful.
LocationSite is southeast of Rimini. From A14 take Riccione exit and follow S16 towards town. Site is well signed and is on the beach road. Link to campsite location map on google
