Alan Rogers Review
Peace and tranquillity reign at the Nunnykirk Club Caravan and Motorhome Club site, making it a haven for wildlife and a bird watchers dream come true. Those who enjoy hill walking will find the Simonside Hills, located near to the site, particularly splendid. They make for a place where you can breathe fresh air, enjoy the space and open countryside all around you, whilst shrugging off the troubles of the everyday world. The site has 78 grass pitches, including some seasonal pitches, all with electricity 16 amp.
All is peace at Nunnykirk and yet this part of England has seen some of the hardest fought border battles in history. If evidence of this was needed, Hadrian's Wall can be found in the south of the county. This Roman site can be visited from the site and will be an educational treat for youngsters, and keen walkers will be sure to want to experience the Hadrian's Wall path walk. Indeed you'll find a number of historical attractions a short distance from the site. A perfect antidote to modern life, you are sure to return from your break refreshed and revitalised.
