Andorra is a country of narrow valleys with pine and birch forested mountains. Xixerella is attractively situated in just such a small valley below towering mountains and beside a river. The site is made up of several sections of gently sloping grass, accessed by tarmac or gravel roads which lead to informal pitching. Electricity (3/6A) is available to all of the 80 pitches. There are barbecues and a picnic area with bridge access to walks in the woods, and a pleasant bar and restaurant with a poolside terrace. The site can be very busy from mid July to mid August but otherwise it is usually peaceful.

This entire campsite is surrounded by a recent, non-intrusive pitch and putt course. It also has a small wellness centre with spa, jacuzzi and hammam. Andorra is particularly spectacular in the early season with its rugged, snow-capped mountains. The site is 7 km. away from the busy, commercialised town of Andorra-la-Vella where many shops can be found. This is a good site for hiking, wildlife and flora spotting. The staff can provide transport into town if needed as parking for large vehicles can be difficult. Do not forget to explore Andorra for duty-free shopping.

The satisfactory main sanitary building is fully equipped, including British style WCs, some washbasins in cabins, showers with dividers. Laundry facilities. Further facilities in a round building by the pool. Small shop, bar and restaurant (closed Nov). Swimming and paddling pools (15/6-15/9). Play area. Minigolf. Pitch and putt course. Electronic games. Disco in season. Torch useful.
