Camping Puttgarden is located directly on the sandy beach in the northeast of Fehmarn, ideal for all water sports enthusiasts. A kite school directly on-site offers everything for beginners and advanced kitesurfers to make kitesurfing an experience. In addition, the kite area “Grüner Brink” with ideal conditions for kitesurfing is within walking distance.
The site is located near the Wallnau Nature Reserve and in direct bird flight line, making it the perfect starting point for fantastic walks and bike rides. With a little luck, you can observe porpoises because the Fehmarn Belt is considered one of Germany's three most important porpoise areas. The site has 150 grass pitches and almost everyone has an electric hook-up point 16 amp. 50 are occupied by slightly dated seasonal units. This is an ideal site for an overnight stop before making the crossing to Denmark.
The heated toilet block has showers, toilets and washbasin basins. Baby room. Kitchen. Dish washing area. Laundry with washing machine and dryer. Chemical toilet point. Dish washing area. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout. Restaurant. Snack bar. Takeaway. Bread to order. Freezer for icepacks. Children’s playground. Table tennis. Table football. Basketball. Football field. BBQ’S allowed. Motorhome service point. Electric car charging point. Dogs are allowed both on site and on the beach.
From Hanburg take the A1/E47 to Lubeck and Puttgarden. Go over the bridge to the island. Now continue towards the ferry to Denmark. Shortly before the ferry station turn left and then the first right. The site is then on the left just before the dyke.Link to campsite location map on google
