Les Granites can be found on the Ile de Ré in a seven-hectare pine forest, just 200 m. from a sandy beach, with direct access from the site. This is a well equipped site, which is part of an hotel complex, with an attractive swimming pool complex (with a water flume), tennis court, bar, restaurant and mini-market (open high season only). Cycling is, of course, very popular on the island and bicycle hire is available on site. Th A number of mobile homes are available to rent, with special half board packages. Please note that there are no touring pitches here. 

An activity and entertainment programme runs throughout the high season, and includes a children’s club and occasional sports tournaments and competitions. The island is accessed by means of a toll bridge from La Rochelle. Sainte Marie de Ré can be found on the southern fringe of the island and has good access to some wonderful sandy beaches. The busy port of La Rochelle makes a good day trip and there is a shuttle bus from the main bridge.

Facilities at Camping les Grenettes

Three toilet blocks (one in low season; two very dated) have a mixture of squat and British style toilets, washbasins and showers in cubicles. Facilities for children and accessible facilities, Shop. Directions to Camping les Grenettes

From the toll bridge, head west on D201 (direction Le Bois Plage en Ré). After the island with D103 turn left signed Ste Marie de Ré and Les Grenettes. Follow campsite signs and look out for concealed entrance.
