This is a large Mobile Home Park with just 36 touring pitches in a small self-contained area of a holiday complex. It looked a little dated, and although the facilities were clean, they were worn. The camping pitches were open with no designated area, and there seemed to be quite a few parties of young teenagers camping in groups. Partial English was spoken at reception, and access to the site was good; management were not available. The surrounding area is not picturesque as you pass through a small industrial estate to access the site. However, the site makes an excellent location for touring the surrounding area.
A lovely pool and giant water slide dominate the park; all other facilities were closed when I visited (late morning).
Les Brillas is well positioned close to the coast in an attractive part of the Loire Atlantique. A few miles to the north is the busy seaside town and port of Pornic, where you will find restaurants, bistros and bars to suit all tastes. Further north, Saint Nazaire and La Baule are well worth a visit. To the south lies the Ile de Noirmoutier. This unusual penninsular stretches for miles out into the sea (there is a toll charge in high season on the approach road). A visit to the bustling old city of Nantes is a must.
Facilities
The toilet block is clean but basic and includes a mixture of British and squat toilets and preset showers. Accessible facilities for visitors by the pool only. Laundry facilities. Bar and restaurant with limited menu. Shop in bar. Basic swimming pool (1/5-15/9). Large games area. Small unfenced play area. Bicycle hire. Entertainment (July/Aug). WiFi (charged).

Site is 1.5 km. from Les Moutiers. Heading northwest from Les Moutiers on D97 turn right onto Route du Bois des Treans. Site well signed.
