This well-run, modern site is pleasantly situated in Delft's park and forest area on the city's eastern edge. It has 200 touring pitches formally arranged in groups of four to six and surrounded by attractive trees and hedges. All have sufficient space and electrical connections (10A Europlug).

Modern buildings near the entrance house the site amenities. A modern sanitary block and a new reception and entrance have been developed (2021). A more recent, smaller restaurant is available where basic snacks are for sale. Walking and cycling tours are organised, and there is a recreation programme in the high season.

A special package deal can be arranged, including tickets to local Royal attractions and a visit to the Royal Delftware factory. Delftse Hout is also conveniently located for a visit to Madurodam (the smallest city in the Netherlands), the North Sea beaches at Scheveningen and the Keukenhof in Lisse. The site attracts many British visitors, many coming for cycling tours.

From Rotterdam A13 take exit 9, turn right at traffic lights towards IKEA. At IKEA roundabout turn left and drive parallel to motorway. At end of street, turn right and site is on left in 300 m. Do not follow sat nav.
