This delightful site, a member of the Flower group, is situated in the heart of the Ardennes between Reims and Luxembourg. It is peacefully located just outside the village beside a stream, and the rolling countryside is delightful, perfect for family bike rides and for exploring on foot. A feature is a large lake, popular with anglers but with a designated beach area for swimming and splashing about. Not far from the lake is a playground and a boules pitch, while at the lake is some play equipment (adult supervision only). Lake swimming is supervised only at certain times (2 m. deep, with a paddling area up to 1.2 m).

This is a charming, well-run site with an attractively floral entrance and plenty of bushes and small trees separating the pitches. The 98 numbered touring pitches all have electricity (10A) and are on level grass off hard access roads. They vary in size up to 130 sq.m. and 55 have water and drainage.

Sanitary blocks provide private cabins, family room and accessible facilities. Laundry facilities. Motorhome services. Bread is delivered daily. Essentials are kept in reception. Snack bar/takeaway (seasonal). Large recreation room with TV, games and books. Play area. Boules. Accompanied walks and entertainment programme (high season). Bicycle hire. WiFi throughout (free).

Directions to Camping la Samaritaine

Buzancy is 22 km. east of Vouziers on the RD947 towards Stenay and Montmédy. Site is just over 1.5 km. from centre of village down a small road. Well signed.
