Alan Rogers Review of Camping Bel
Camping Bel is a family run site and extremely popular with British and Dutch holidaymakers. There are a total of 200 pitches on level, sandy grass and separated by hedges with mature trees giving good shade. All pitches have electrical connections (10A). Being just 150 m. from a sandy beach this is a good site for a family beach holiday. La Tranche-sur-Mer with all amenities is within walking distance. The site operates on a reservation system only.
Take a short walk from parc to reach La Tranche-sur-Mer, which has a range of cafés and restaurants. If you need to stock up on holiday essentials, you’ll find a large supermarket next to the parc.
Facilities at Camping Bel
Two toilet blocks have washbasins in cabins, very good baby units and accessible facilities. Baker calls daily. Bar. Takeaway. Heated outdoor pool with jacuzzi. Plenty of entertainment for children aged 6-14 yrs (July/Aug). Fitness area. Tennis and badminton. Pets allowed. Satellite TV. WiFi.
Directions to Camping Bel
Follow signs from roundabout on La Tranche bypass, near Super U supermarket onto avenue General de Gaulle. Left after 50 m. onto Rue du Bottereau. Site on right after 100 m.
