Neset Camping
On a semi-promontory on the shores of the 40 km. long Byglandsfjord, Neset is a well run, friendly site ideal for spending a few active days, or as a shortstop en route north from the ferry port of Kristiansand (from Denmark). Neset is situated on well kept, grassy meadows by the lake shore, with water on three sides and the road on the fourth. There are over 250 unmarked pitches with electricity and cable TV, and 40 hardstandings for motorhomes. The main building houses reception, a small shop and a restaurant with fine views over the water.
Hornnes Camping
Hornnes Camping is a beautiful campsite located in southern Norway, right next to Riksveg 9, 56 kilometres north of Kristiansand and 5 kilometres south of the village of Evje. It is in a stunning natural setting, surrounded by a beach where the river Otra meets Breiflå lake. The campsite has been running since 1934 and has 190 grass pitches, of which 120 are for touring units. It also has 16/10-amp hook-up points. There are 70 seasonal pitches.
Sørlandets Naturistsenter Isefjærleiren
Sørlandets is renowned for idyllic inlets and islands, and has a reputation as the ‘Norwegian Riviera’ with warm summer temperatures and sea water reaching over twenty degrees. An equally warm and enthusiastic welcome awaits naturists at Isefjær, where the 15 touring pitches and 5 rental accommodations are supported by basic but comfortable facilities. The site has been lovingly developed from an ex-military recreation camp by volunteers. It is secluded with access that may prove difficult for larger units. A limited number of camping pitches enjoy views over the fjord from the water’s edge or from high above the site. A continuous programme of improvements has produced comfortable facilities inside the outer shell, and guests often become part of the group of volunteers, who are keen to share their way of life with others. A small church, part of the original camp, is in the fjord seaside camping area.
Sølvgarden Hotell og Feriesenter
Sølvgarden Hotell og Feriesenter is in the Setesdal valley, on the upper reaches of the Otra river which runs north from Kristiansand and onwards to the southern slopes of Hardangervidda. The small village of Rysstad is named after the family that developed camping here, and later the excellent hotel and restaurant complex. The site occupies a wide tract of gently sloping woodland between the road and the river towards which it shelves gently, affording a splendid view of the valley and the towering mountains opposite. There are 50 pitches, some for tents, and 31 numbered pitches with electricity, four of which are fully serviced. They are among 22 cabins and apartments for rent.
Tingsaker Familiecamping
Tingsaker Family Camping has been a family-run site since 1935, now run by the father and son. The campsite is located in the middle of Norway, 5 minutes walk from the town of Lillesand. You will find 150 touring pitches on site, all with electric hook-up points situated 150 metres from the beach, giving great sea views from every pitch, making this site a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

South
