Hornnes Camping is a beautiful campsite located in southern Norway, right next to Riksveg 9, 56 kilometres north of Kristiansand and 5 kilometres south of the village of Evje. It is in a stunning natural setting, surrounded by a beach where the river Otra meets Breiflå lake. The campsite has been running since 1934 and has 190 grass pitches, of which 120 are for touring units. It also has 16/10-amp hook-up points. There are 70 seasonal pitches.

Hornnes Camping is known for its friendly atmosphere and its excellent amenities. There is a children's playground, a small shop where you can buy basic groceries and camping supplies, and the usual amenities needed to enjoy a comfortable stay here, such as laundry and well-kept modern sanitary facilities. The campsite is located directly on a beach, perfect for swimming, sunbathing, and fishing. Fishing licenses can be purchased from reception. For those who wish to explore the surrounding area by water, you can also rent boats and canoes from the site.

From here it is only five minutes to the center of Evje with supermarkets, shops, snack bars, bank, post office, cafe, etc. The campsite is centrally located for trips to attractive destinations and sports activities in Setesdal and Indre Agder. If you're interested in minerals and crystals, there are several mines and museums in the nearby area.

Directions to Hornnes Camping

5 km south of Evje on routes 9 and 42. Leave at the crossroads of the routes 42,9 and Fv310. Join the Fv310 and take the second right turn. The site is on this road and well signposted.
