Fields End Water Caravan Park
Fields End Water Caravan Park attracts many visitors year-round. Enthusiastic anglers will find fishing for all levels; ramblers can enjoy the flat, expansive Fenland countryside, and those who just want to sit back and relax can do so in beautiful and natural surroundings thanks to their adult-only policy and the fact that they are not near any major roads or under any flight paths. 33 exclusive caravan pitches can be found in the Main Park along with the reception/shop, which sells bait suitable for the on-site lakes, tea/coffee and some useful supplies, snacks and sweets. An additional 18 pitches can be found in the "Paddock" and a further 20 in “Waterside”. The site also has 5 lodges and 4 glamping pods to rent. The campsite is dog-friendly with lots of opportunities for walking around the 5-acre woods.
Bath Chew Valley Caravan Park
A small and secluded garden site for adults only, Bath Chew Valley has been developed with much tender love and care by the Betton family, who are rightly proud of their David Bellamy Gold award. Hardstanding pitches are sited amongst colourful beds of flowers, shrubs and trees. Cars are tucked away on the nearby car park, providing a tranquil and restful atmosphere. An area of woodland is adjacent with an enclosed dog walking area called Puppies’ Parade. The warden will assist you in placing your caravan.
Royal Vale Caravan Park
Royal Vale Caravan Park is a family run site for adults only located in countryside close to Knutsford, with Tatton Park and other attractions nearby. Expect a relaxed stay all year round on 52 all-weather pitches (some seasonal), each with water, electricity and drainage, attractively arranged around a fully appointed, heated, modern central toilet block. There are a further 10 grass pitches for tents. Access to the level, gravel and solid hardstandings is via compacted gravel roadways, landscaped on grass with mature and developing hedges and trees. The River Peover borders the park and a pleasant walk takes you along the valley to Lower Peover. The site also has 8 lodges available to rent. Minimum stay on Bank Holidays is 3 nights.
Lakeside Touring Park
Lakeside Touring park is an adult-only, open all year site. It is situated in 22 acres of beautifully landscaped grounds with superb views of the Yorkshire Wolds and the surrounding area. Incorporated within the site is a 6 acre lake which is well stocked with a wide variety of coarse fish. The peace and tranquillity offered by Lakeside makes it an idyllic location in which to relax and recharge your batteries. It also makes it an ideal base from which to plan your holiday whether you prefer the quiet life or a faster pace there is something for everyone within easy reach of Lakeside. Lakeside is in the heart of beautiful East Yorkshire, with easy access of the A64 and M62. Only 4 miles south of the historic town of Pocklington and 12 miles east of the historic City of York. The site has 40 grass and 9 hard-standing pitches for caravans including some seasonal pitches. Each with electric metered hook-up.
Hadley Park Caravan and Camping
Hadley is a lowland mixed farm that the Wynn family has run for over 80 years. The land covers 224 acres and is located on the outskirts of the historic market town of Whitchurch. The farm has a herd of dairy cattle, sheep, and horses. The campsite is conveniently located next to the Shropshire Union Canal, where you can walk to Whitchurch, Shropshire's oldest market town.
Plough Lane Caravan Site
Catering for adults only (over 18 years), this is a good example of a well designed, quality, modern touring site; booking is essential to avoid disappointment. The 50 pitches (all for touring units) are attractively laid out over four acres, access roads are gravel and the borders are stocked with well established shrubs and trees. The pitches are half grass, half hardstanding and all have 16A electricity, with 27 having full services. The site entrance has a barrier system for security.
The Meadows Campsite
The Meadows is a small family-run holiday park within an accessible location with no testing hills for your car and caravan. We are set over six acres of campground, meadow and woodland. If you like to holiday on a small, natural campsite close to the beach and other attractions, you will enjoy this friendly and individual campsite.
Back of Beyond Touring Park
Victoria, Martin and Family and their team of rangers offer a very warm welcome, and you can see this site is not just a family business but a passion. Back of Beyond is a peaceful 30 acre site located within easy reach of Bournemouth, The South Coast and The New Forest. Consisting of 142 pitches in total 89 with electricity and 20 hardstanding, 45 tent pitches and 9 glamping/yurt/pods. There is an 18 acre wood where dogs can run free, dogs are very welcome and even have their own shower wash. A wildlife lake with Special Scientific Interest status area (SSI) and a pétanque pitch. The shop is licensed, very well stocked with fresh local produce and sells camping/calor gas. Adjoining this is a covered licensed bar, social area and the main reception.
Beaconsfield Farm Caravan Park
Just north of the historic market town, a drive of half a mile through open fields leads to this purpose-designed park. Neatly laid out in a rural situation, the park is well-lit with a circular tarmac access road beyond a security barrier. The grounds have been levelled and grassed to provide 80 well-spaced pitches, all with 10A electricity connections, of which 50 are ‘super’ hardstanding pitches. Two further areas accommodate 49 caravan holiday homes. On-site, there are two well-stocked coarse fishing pools, an indoor swimming pool and an excellent, fully-licensed à la carte restaurant, ‘The Bothy’, serving local produce. A section of the site is dedicated for adults only.
Woodland Springs Touring Park
Hidden away in a corner of the Dartmoor National Park, Woodland Springs is a haven of peace and tranquillity. Set in a dip, it is sheltered by woodland with some views across the rural countryside. It provides 81 fairly level pitches, 50 fully serviced with hardstanding, 12 on grass without electricity and 19 on grass with electricity (16A). Two Camping pods are also available with heating, light and electricity. There is a circular gravel access road and a central toilet block. There is a small shop and off-licence; bread is baked daily. A large field provides good dog walking. The resident owners provide a warm welcome on this quiet park that only accepts adults. With 600 miles of public right-of-way on Dartmoor, there is plenty to keep walkers busy.
Stroud Hill Park
Open all year round for adults only, Stroud Hill Park is a well designed, high quality park; a credit to its owners, David and Jayne Newman. The park has been landscaped to create a terraced effect and now incorporates a large fishing lake (well stocked with carp, tench, bream, rudd and roach) plus a superb tennis court. There are 60 large, slightly sloping pitches, fully serviced with 16A electricity, fresh water and drainage, 44 of which have hardstanding. Affiliated to the Caravan Club, non-members are equally welcome. A member of the Best of British group.
Trethem Mill Touring Park
Trethem Mill Touring Park is owned and run by three generations of the Akeroyd family who are rightly proud of their superb park and maintain it to a very high standard. This is an adults only touring park (no statics) and is suitable for couples who seek peace and tranquillity. The site has a pleasant and open feel, with about half of the 12 acres being dedicated to recreation and a dog walk. There are 80 pitches on a gentle slope, so on some pitches levelling may be required. All pitches are spacious and divided by well manicured hedging with spectacular views over the Cornish countryside. The whole site is maintained to a very high standard. A choice of all-weather or grass pitches, with 16-amp electric & TV point available on all pitches (some require levelling blocks). A further 29 fully serviced pitches on hardstanding also provide on-pitch water & waste connections. All pitches have easy access and a wooden picnic table to enjoy outdoor dining. The area around reception is tastefully landscaped and features a small watermill built amongst the flowers.
Colemere Caravan Park
The adults-only Colemere Caravan Park is located in Shropshire on five acres of land a mile from the wood lane nature reserve, one of the best birdwatching sites in the area.
The Newnes Touring Park
The Newnes Touring Caravan Park is an adult only (over 18s) site and is a wonderful haven for visitors to escape from their busy lives and get back to the wonders of nature. The Park is set in the small hamlet of The Newnes, where the owners have farmed for seven generations, since 1840. The Newnes dates to Medieval times and gets its name from when King Edward II is said to have placed some new people on the property formerly occupied by displaced Welsh Rebels. The origin of these people is unknown, but they were referred to as the neow-ones (old English for new), hence the name Newnes. The touring site is set amid North Shropshire, half a mile (10-minute walk) from the Historic Market town of Ellesmere, known as ‘Shropshire’s Lake District.’ An elevated site with 60 level grass or hardstanding pitches (some seasonal) each with electric hook-up points plus individual mains water taps. Night lights on each hook-up point, awnings welcome. Each pitch looks out onto the remainder of the 8 acre site, which is lawned and level, giving superb views over the beautiful surrounding countryside.
Moat Barn Touring Caravan Park
Mike Allen opened this small adults only touring park in April 2000 on the Suffolk Heritage Cycle Route and also the Hull - Harwich National Cycle Route. The main touring area is bordered by established hedging and incorporates a circular roadway. The park currently provides 34 level grass pitches, all with 10A electricity. The park is popular with both walkers and cyclists and provides a tranquil environment to explore nearby Woodbridge and surrounding areas. The park has limited provision for large units (for example, American motorhomes).
Lamb Cottage Caravan Park
At this peaceful, family run, adults only park set in the midst of the lovely Vale Royal area of Cheshire, emphasis is placed on attention to detail. Seasonal and touring caravan pitches are arranged separately on 41 large, landscaped pitches, all with 16A electricity, gravel hardstandings, water and drainage. There are an additional four motorhome pitches with hardstandings and electricity. Only breathable groundsheets are permitted and tents are not accepted. Nearby are Delamere Forest with walking and mountain biking trails, Whitegate Way walking trail, Oulton Park Motor Racing Circuit, castles at Peckforton and Beeston and, within 12 miles, the city of Chester.
Longnor Wood Holiday Park
A secluded, rural location, deep in the heart of the Peak District, Longnor Wood is an adult only park (over 18 yrs) and an ideal environment for a relaxing break from the outside world. It is a good base for walking, red deer and birdwatching (barn owls) and serious cycling – the area is very hilly. There are just 14 touring pitches plus an additional 13 pitches for tents. The pitches are level, some on small terraces, all with 10A electricity hook-ups on half hardstanding, half grass. Three are multi-services (electricity, water, waste water and TV connections). Sharing the site are 33 seasonal pitches and nine caravan holiday homes to rent.

Despite our notoriously unpredictable weather, camping and caravanning in England is an adventure. For sure, English campsites in general offer easy access to spectacular terrain, but the campsites in England provide an unbeatable mix of scenery with the widest range of terrain.

Walking and cycling trails criss-cross the countryside showcasing the best scenery; little lanes lead to everywhere and nowhere but always spring a pleasant surprise around every bend. Every campsite in England can help you get a little closer to the locality.

Public footpaths may be well-trodden or rarely used but are a wonderful way to get to know whichever corner of England you are in. Follow the paths through glorious bluebell woods in spring, skirt around magnificent lakes and through soaring mountain passes. Equally, simply amble through a quintessentially English village with roses clambering up the ancient walls, hear the church bells tolling and soak up the sense of history.

Northern England

A beautiful and varied region of rolling hills and undulating moors, along with a wealth of industrial heritage and undiscovered countryside. Camping in the Peak District or Yorkshire moors, perhaps the Cumbrian lakes or among the Northumbrian ancient forts and fairy tale castles, are all highlights not to be missed.

The ancient industrial cities have long shed their grimy past and are today must-visit places of real interest: Newcastle with its iconic bridges, York is home to the national railway museum and famous city walls and Liverpool, of course, is the birthplace of the Beatles. Manchester is now a destination in its own right too, a modern, vibrant city of the arts and culture (not to mention two global football clubs, Manchester United and Man City).

Southern England

Rich in maritime heritage and historical attractions, the southern region comprises tranquil English countryside replete with picture postcard villages, ancient towns, formidable castles and grand stately homes, and a beautiful coastline and lively seaside resorts.

Historic fishing ports like Hastings, where boats are still landed on the shingle beach, have a special past, dating back to 1066. Not far away lie the sleepy cobbled lanes of Rye, a popular enclave of artists and artisan crafts perched on its hill and one of the Cinque Ports.

Seaside towns like Brighton and Bournemouth offer a colourful mix of old and new, with vibrant culture, festivals, food markets and a diverse programme of performances and events.

Venture inland and you’ll find the South Downs and the Weald of Kent, with their timbered houses, ancient trails and small picturesque villages. Kent, known as the Garden of England, has a huge array of farm shops, vineyards and orchards and the oast houses with their pointed white cowls are so distinctive.

Eastern England

A perfect mix of gentle countryside and sleepy storybook villages, it’s an unspoilt region with the endless skies of the Fens, inland waterways and traditional beach resorts. Campsites in Norfolk have a special charm, peaceful and sleepy, almost allowing you to drift off to another time.

The classic timbered houses with their weathered oak beams, wonky floors and terracotta tiles are often painted in muted pastel hues, particularly creams and soft pinks. Medieval cloth towns like Thaxted, or Great Dunmow and Sudbury are good places to visit.

Western England

A region of contrasts, with windswept moorlands and dramatic cliffs towering above beautiful sandy beaches. The coasts of Devon and Cornwall have both sandy shores and rocky headland, and dense deciduous woodland that shelters all kinds of flora and fauna.

Camping in Cornwall has long been a highlight of many families’ year. The clean sands polished by the buffeting waves, the surfers incessantly riding high on the white foam, the tranquil gardens and eco hotspots like the Eden Project drawing in visitors by their thousands.

Some make full use of their campervan in Cornwall - from surfing to enjoying a leisurely cream tea, it’s the ideal base. And campsites in Devon and Cornwall are always friendly and inviting, often with sweeping sea views. Special areas are often reserved for tent camping, so if you’re a tenter planning a holiday under canvas, it’s always worth enquiring about tent pitches.

Wild places like Exmoor and Dartmoor contrast with the gentler countryside around Torbay, the English Riviera, and the fascinating Jurassic Coast of Dorset. Recognised by UNESCO for its cultural heritage it is hugely popular with campers and caravanners staying at campsites in Dorset.
