Situated as it is, on the northern outskirts and within easy reach of the city of Edinburgh, this large, busy Caravan and Motorhome Club site provides an ideal base for touring. The site is only a stone’s throw away from the waterfront where visitors can walk along the promenade of Cramond and, only a short drive away, visitors can enjoy the popular coastal suburb of Portobello with its pubs, restaurants and shops. The nearest hotel/restaurant is under a mile away, and the Firth of Forth bridge about two miles.

Culloden Moor Caravan and Motorhome Club site is a quiet and tranquil place ideally located for exploring the city of Inverness and the surrounding areas. Gently sloping to face a glorious, unspoilt view over the Nairn Valley, it has the asset of being sheltered on one side by an abundant belt of mature trees to afford extra privacy and wind protection. It has 87 mainly hardstanding pitches (some seasonal), and most have 16 amp electricity.

Strathclyde Country Park Caravan and Motorhome Club Site
The 1,200-acre Strathclyde Country Park is a large green area less than 15 miles from the centre of Glasgow. This Caravan and Motorhome Club site features 107 all-weather, large, flat hardstanding pitches (some seasonal) all with 16 amp electricity. There are 12 serviced pitches. Space for 45 tents (seasonal), all off tarmac roads. The warden’s accommodation and toilet blocks are attractively clad in wood to blend in with their surroundings. This site is suitable as a stopover or for a longer holiday (max. 21 days) and it is ideal as a base for visiting the numerous attractions in and around Glasgow. As the site is close to the motorway, there may be some traffic noise.

Falkirk Wheel and The Kelpies

The Falkirk Wheel is an impressive feat of engineering and an iconic tourist attraction. Stonehaven Caravan and Motorhome Club site has an enviable seaside location at Stonehaven Bay. The historic town and harbour of Stonehaven, with its quaint shops and choice of restaurants over-looking the bay, is just a short walk away along the promenade. An art deco open-air Olympic size swimming pool is within walking distance of the site, and there is a leisure centre in the adjacent village of Cowie with a covered pool amongst other facilities. There is also a challenging cliff top golf course nearby. There are 76 hard standing pitches including 8 serviced pitches. All have 16 amp electricity.

Forfar Lochside Caravan and Motorhome Club Site offers access to the attractive Angus Glens. It has a picturesque parkland location on the shores of the loch within Forfar Loch Country Park. The beautiful country park is ideal for dog walking, cycling or a quiet stroll through the trees with fantastic views - for keen walkers it is possible to walk round the entire loch! This award-winning site is also situated within a few minutes' walk of the bustling centre of Forfar, the county town of Angus.
