The campsite Voiles d’Anjou is a small, attractive site on the outskirts of the village, very close (900 metres) to the River Loire between Saumur and Angers. There are 34 touring pitches, all with 10A electricity, individual water taps and wastewater drainage. In addition, there are 60 pitches used for mobile homes, mostly for hire. Beech hedging provides good privacy. There is a pleasant little bar with a terrace and a new adjacent marquee used for games and entertainment. There are two heated swimming pools, one covered, the other surrounded by sunbathing terraces and with a large (linked) paddling pool. When we visited in late June, everything was tranquil, but in July/August there is a busy programme of activities.

Les Rosiers is close to Saumur with its shops, bars and restaurants, and there are numerous opportunities for visits to the many châteaux, abbeys, vineyards and museums of this part of the Loire valley. This is a good base for exploring the region.

Facilities at Yelloh! Village Voiles d'Anjou

The main toilet block offers all the necessary facilities, including those for babies and accessible facilities. Two other blocks are reasonably new, and one of them is adapted to campers with disabilities. Bar with TV serves snacks (fresh bread to order; June-Aug). Covered pool (seasonal). Outdoor pool (seasonal). Spa area. Children’s activities, daytime events and outings. Evening entertainment in high season. Play area. Games room. Mini farm, Minigolf. Table Tennis. Tennis, Multisport ground, WiFi over site.

Les Rosiers is 17 km. northwest of Saumur. From A85 motorway at exit 1 take D144 south to Beaufort-en-Vallée. Continue south on D59. Site is signed to right on approach to village.
