Camping la Roche Posay is set in eight hectares and has direct access to the Creuse river on which fishing and canoes are popular. There are over 200 pitches, of which 85 are used for mobile homes to rent. Access around the site is good for larger units. The pitches are all large and 10A electricity is available. This is a good, well run site by the helpful owners John and Angela who are British. There is a sense of spaciousness where you can relax in a convivial atmosphere. Many different types of trees offer a mix of shade and the site is pleasantly landscaped.
A programme of entertainment is arranged for both adults and children, and in high season there is a children’s club. There are many places to visit and things to do within a 20 km. radius of the site. This campsite is good for a long stay in both low and high seasons and represents good value for money. La Roche Posay has a casino and horse racing track as well as some attractive bars and restaurants. It is also well known as a spa for its thermal waters, which are used both by the French health service and by visitors (advance booking required). A free shuttle bus runs from the site to town.

Two fully equipped, heated toilet blocks, one in each section. Excellent accessible facilities. Bar and takeaway (all season). Snack bar (July/Aug). Outdoor swimming pool with toboggan (May-Sept). Heated, covered swimming and paddling pools. Play area. Games room. Fishing. Canoes. Boules. Riding. Bicycle hire. Entertainment in high season. Free shuttle bus to town. WiFi (free in bar).

Site is signed from the D725 town bypass, turning north at roundabout onto D5 towards Lesigny. Site is 50 m. on right.
