This site is located just north of the town of Dieulefit. The name originates from Dieu l’a fait, meaning God made it, so it is not surprising to find a Huttopia site set in a managed forest, by a small lake, with stunning views over the town and across the valley. It follows the Huttopia philosophy of high standards combined with a sense of real camping, therefore no cars are generally allowed on pitches. There are 74 pitches with rental accommodation in the form of Cahuttes, Cabanes or Canadiennes, and a variety of clever wood and canvas structures. The remaining 91 pitches (66 with electricity) are for camping amongst the trees, although there are some closer to the central lodge which are more open. ‘Bivouac’ outdoor cooking and eating areas are dotted around the site. There are two pools and a good range of on-site amenities including a shop, bar and restaurant.

There is an activity programme for families and children who are looking to discover more about the region of Drôme Provençale. A range of nature discovery activities is organised in July/August.

Modern well equipped heated sanitary facilities in the central lodge with accessible facilities, plus strategically placed outlying ‘rondavels’ containing family rooms and toilets and water points. Bar/restaurant, pizzeria (July/Aug and weekends). Small shop (all season). Heated outdoor pool (all season). Large central lodge with wood burning fire and communal area. Conference Centre. Bicycle hire. Fishing. Only electric barbecues. Max. 1 dog per pitch.

Directions to Village Huttopia Dieulefit

From A7 take exit 18 onto N7 to Montélimar. Go right on ring road and follow D540 towards La Batise Rolland. Continue on D540 to Dieulefit. On entering town go left at roundabout onto D538 (north). Continue, passing the Pompiers on the right and follow campsite signs for easiest access to site.
