A busy site and the only one within Paris, set in a wooded area between the Seine and the Bois de Boulogne. The site is quite extensive but nevertheless becomes very full with many international visitors, with noise well into the night, despite the rules. There are 459 pitches of varying size (including mobile homes) of which 313 are marked, with electricity (10A), water, drainage and TV aerial connections. An improvement and development programme including a new toilet block and restaurant was carried out during the winter of 2014/15. Reservations are made for pitches – if not booked, arrive early in season (mornings).

At the entrance is a modern reception building (open 07.00-22.00) with a code operated barrier system. One can reach the Champs Elysees in 10-15 minutes by car or, from April to October, a shuttle bus runs every half hour from the site to the Metro station. Excursions are organised in July and August and there are ticket sales for Disneyland, Asterix Parc, etc. Note: you are in a major city environment – take care of valuables.

Facilities at Camping de Paris

Four toilet blocks, one modern. Newest block has accessible facilities but there is no ramped access. All these facilities have heavy use in season. Laundry room. Two motorhome service points. a morning bread and croissant service, Shop. Restaurant, Pizza bar, takeaway. New central lodge for relaxation. New playground. Bicycle hire. Information service. Shuttle bus to Paris. WiFi in reception. Cottage and wooden Romany-style caravans to rent.

Directions to Camping de Paris

Site is on east side of the Seine between the river and the Bois de Boulogne, just north of the Pont de Suresnes. Easiest approach is from Port Maillot. Site is on a one-way street with no left turn from Bvd. Richard Wallace into Allé du Bord de l’Eau. Traffic lights at site entrance. Follow signs closely and use a good map.
