Vesterlyng is a pleasant, quiet site close to Føllenslev and Havnsø on Sjælland. The ground slopes towards the sea and there are views from some pitches. It is an open site but some mature trees provide shade.

Vesterlyng has 180 mostly level touring pitches, 150 with 6/13A electricity. A further 100 or so pitches are used by mostly elderly, seasonal units. The pitches are on long, grassy meadows each taking 16-20 units, off tarmac access roads. Facilities on this site are basic but clean. The local beaches are ideal for swimming and a relaxing beach holiday.

Some activities are organised for children, including riding and music. There is also a playing field with beach volleyball court. The restaurant serves meals at reasonable prices and the Luksus Biks (beef with potatoes and vegetables) is recommended.

Facilities at Vesterlyng Camping

Two traditional style toilet blocks (maintenance can be variable) include washbasins (open style and in cabins) and controllable hot showers. Family shower rooms. Basic accessible facilities. Washing machine and dryer. Small shop. Bar/restaurant. Swimming pool complex (charged). Minigolf. Riding. Bicycle hire. Games room with air hockey. Watersports. WiFi over site (charged). Boules. Animal enclosure. Live music nights.

Directions to Vesterlyng Camping

From Kalundborg follow 23 road east and exit on 155 road towards Svinninge. At Snertinge, continue north on 255 road for 2 km. Follow signs to site (6 km). From the west exit on 255 road towards Snertinge and follow signs after 2 km.
