This site is set in a quiet position on the side of an attractive valley in the Black Forest. If you would like to dine or wake up to beautiful views across an alpine valley and watch wild deer graze in the meadows opposite, then this is the site for you. Set on three terraces with some shade, the site has 50 fairly level touring pitches, all with electricity (10A), water and drainage. A smaller area is used for tents. In front of the main building is an area of hardstanding for overnight visitors, also with electricity connections. Being close to the toilet facilities, this area is recommended for campers with mobility problems.

Wolfach was recently taken over by new owners, who are keen to improve the general appearance and tidiness of the site. Local attractions include the excellent waterfalls near Triberg which have been visited by, amongst others, Ernest Hemingway and Otto von Bismark.

One main toilet block has been refurbished to a very high standard and provides first class facilities including private cabins and large free showers. Excellent accessible facilities. Laundry facilities. Reception with a kiosk. Bar/restaurant (open daily). Pleasant terraced bar. Play area. No charcoal barbecues. WiFi (charged).

Directions to Trendcamping Wolfach

From A5 Karlsruhe-Freiburg, take exit 55 Offenburg on B33/E531 to Haslach, then on 33/294 through Hausach and continue on 294 towards Wolfach. Go through tunnel, stay on 294 for 3 km. to Halbmeil. Site on left at end of village - watch for flags.
