Alan Rogers Review
Set in 500 acres of the Garden of England, The Hop Farm Touring & Camping Park is a popular family visitor attraction. There are plenty of activities to entertain children, including adventure play areas (indoor and outdoor), a driving school, funfair rides, the Magic Factory and the Great Goblin Hunt.
This is also the venue for many special events throughout the summer, including music festivals & shows. To one side, overlooking all this activity and the attractive cluster of oasts is the touring park which provides 150 pitches of which 75 are hardstanding on flat, open fields. Electricity (16A) and water are available. There are also 1000 pitches for tents!
The main toilet block is clean and provides straightforward facilities, these are supplemented by prefab units when events bring extra campers. Entry to the visitor attraction is half price for caravanners and campers and includes the Shires Restaurant and the Happy Hopper’s café. This park particularly suits those looking to enjoy the visitor attraction or attend one of the events.
Brand new state-of-the-art shower and washrooms have been added to the site to enhance guest experiences, providing a luxurious touch to their stay. Small shop (in reception) for essentials. Free entry for campers and caravanners to the Family Park with restaurant and café. Nature walks. Boat launching. Fishing. Dogs accepted but not permitted inside the visitor attraction. Activities and entertainment at the visitor attraction.
The Hop Farm is located on the A228 near Paddock Wood. Follow the brown tourist signs from exit 4 of the M20 or exit 5 of the M25 onto the A21 south.
