Alan Rogers Review

The owners of one of Ireland’s newest parks, George and Rosaline Drew, are campers themselves and have set about creating an idyllic park in an idyllic location. This three-hectare park is set in one of Ireland’s most picturesque valleys and is open all year. There are beautiful views of the wooded and hilly areas of Slievenamuck and the Galtee Mountains. There are 42 large and level touring pitches, on both hardstanding and grass, each pair sharing a double 10A Europlug post and water point. The Drew family is happy to welcome large groups and rallies, and large units can be accommodated. The new stone-built reception and shop beside the gate is a super addition to the site and includes a coffee shop. The excellent facilities are located in a purpose-built toilet block.

This area is an outdoor paradise with a nearby nature park and forest trails, with a 6 km. walk starting at the park entrance, and a popular retreat for adults looking for a relaxing haven. With a local pub just 300 m. away, this is an excellent base from which to tour a variety of attractions such as the Rock of Cashel, Cahir Castle, Holycross Abbey and many more.

The modern toilet block includes free showers and facilities for disabled visitors. Motorcaravan services. Laundry room with ironing. Campers’ kitchen. Recreation and TV rooms. Shop. Coffee shop. Bicycle hire (delivered to site). WiFi (free).
